Bolens repair manuals cover the full service job: engine removal and rebuild data, transaxle and drive train, PTO clutch, steering, brakes, and electrical with complete wiring diagrams. Each book is a factory multi-model volume for one frame family: the medium frame series (1058 through 1858), the medium tube frame series (600 through 1225), the large frame series (2086 through 2389, the HT and HDT nameplates), and the QS, QT and 1900 series.
Two books cover the late hydrostatics. The DuraTrac service manual handles the 5117H through 5120H and the GT models they grew out of. The TX series hydrostatic manual documents the hydrostatic drive on the Iseki-built 1502H and 1704H diesels, the transmission half of those machines rather than the whole chassis.
