This 344-page Daewoo 330-III Shop Manual PDF is the same factory book Daewoo techs used, covering the excavator from swing bearing to track spring. You get full teardown and reassembly procedures for the main pump, swing motor, travel motor final drive, and main control valve, plus rated lift capacity tables and performance test standards. A dedicated troubleshooting section walks your engine, electrical, and hydraulic problems back to root cause, backed by torque tables and wear limits for the D2366T engine. Check journal bearing crush at 0.15 to 0.25 mm, and replace grooved bearing housings once wear passes 0.05 mm. Rebuilding a 250-horsepower excavator on forum guesses is a bad bet. Bookmarked with a real text layer: type the spec, jump straight to the section, and get back on the machine.

Daewoo S330LC-3 (330-III) Common Problems This Manual Covers

Daewoo 330-III swing gearbox grinding noise, bearing rollers pitted and outer races cracked

Remove the gearbox cover and inspect bearing rollers, cages, and cups for pitting, scoring, or cracked races. Replace the cone and cup together as a matched assembly, never one piece alone. Check the shaft for grooving or galling; anything over 0.05 mm (0.0020 inch) means the shaft is done. Service standards for worn parts start on page 210.

Manual Section: Troubleshooting – Swing Gearbox p. 210
Hydraulic cylinders slow and weak under load, boom and arm barely lift

Check hydraulic oil level first; the tank holds 360 l and running low pulls air into the pumps. Connect a flow meter and test main relief pressure against the 300 to 320 kg/cm2 spec on page 26. Verify pilot pressure at 40 kg/cm2. If pressures test good, follow the troubleshooting procedures starting on page 310.

Manual Section: Troubleshooting – Hydraulic Problems (General)
Engine cranks slowly and will not fire on cold mornings, batteries seem weak

Test battery voltage under load first; this is a 24 volt system and tired batteries drag the starter down. Check the intake air electric heater circuit against the wiring diagram on page 250. Then work through the starter circuit and fuel system checks in the troubleshooting procedures on page 310 before condemning the starter.

Manual Section: Troubleshooting – Engine Problems p. 310
Low oil pressure at idle with knocking noise from the bottom end

Drain the oil and cut the filter open to look for bearing material. Pull the pan and measure journal bearing crush; the spec is 0.15 mm to 0.25 mm (0.0059 to 0.010 inch) on page 270. Compare journals against the engine wear limits in Section 6, then refill the system with 25 l of oil.

Manual Section: Sec.6 p. 270
Upper structure coasts past target when swing lever centered, swing motion jerky and uneven

Verify main relief pressure holds between 300 and 320 kg/cm2 against the spec on page 26 before touching the swing motor. Inspect the swing relief valve for stuck poppets and check pilot pressure at 40 kg/cm2. Test the swing brake for delayed engagement, and bleed air from the swing motor case before loading it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the recommended service intervals?

The manual outlines various service intervals including daily or every 10 operating hours, weekly or every 50 operating hours, 150 operating hours, monthly or every 250 operating hours, three months or every 500 operating hours, and six months or every 1,000 operating hours. p. 285

What fluids and capacities does this machine require?

The excavator requires 25 liters (6.6 gallons) for the engine oil system, 520 liters (137 gallons) for the fuel tank, and 360 liters (95 gallons) for the hydraulic tank. p. 28

How can I troubleshoot if the engine won't start?

If nothing happens when the starter key is turned, check for loose or broken wire connections and tighten them. If the engine does not start due to fuel system issues, check for air in the fuel line or a clogged feed pump filter, and bleed air or clean as necessary. p. 310

What are the valve clearance specifications?

The engine valve cold lash adjustment for both intake and exhaust is 0.3 mm (0.0118 inches). This specification is crucial for proper engine operation. p. 269

What torque specifications are listed?

The manual provides a comprehensive table of standard bolt torque specifications, ranging from M5 to M24, with values in both kg m and ft lb. For example, an M5 standard bolt requires 0.15 kg m (1.08 ft lb) of torque. p. 300

What format is this manual in?

You get a 344-page searchable PDF that downloads instantly after checkout. Open it on your laptop, tablet, or phone, and bring it right to the shop floor.
