Choosing the Right Landini Manual
Every Landini manual in our catalog is a repair manual with full teardown and rebuild procedures. The Mythos 90/100/110 covers the mid-range utility tractors that show up on mixed livestock and arable farms across Ireland and southern Europe. The 5860 through 8860 numbered series handles the late-production Perkins-engined range. ARGO, which also builds McCormick at the same Fabbrico factory, restricts all factory documentation to its authorized dealer network. If you are an independent mechanic or a farmer running Landini iron without a dealer relationship, these PDFs give you the same factory-authored workshop data.
Are these the same manuals Landini dealers use?
Landini documentation traces through two corporate eras. Under Massey Ferguson ownership (1959 to 1989), workshop manuals carried MF-style reference numbers like 3549054 M2 and shared Perkins engine documentation. After ARGO acquired Landini and consolidated production with McCormick at the Fabbrico plant, the documentation system went behind a dealer-only login. A technician rebuilding a New Rex vineyard tractor in the Western Cape or servicing an Atlantis 85 on an Irish dairy farm has no public path to this data. These PDFs contain the original factory content: hydraulic circuit diagrams, transmission rebuild sequences, electrical troubleshooting trees, and torque values for every fastener group.
How do I find the right manual for my serial number?
Start with the series name on your tractor’s identification plate. The New Legend 125 through 185 is a different platform from the original Legend 110 through 165, and the numbered series (5860, 6880, 5870) each have separate manuals despite similar naming. If your plate shows a model like “7860” or “8880,” match the full number group in the product title. For Rex, Mythos, or Atlantis series, the name plus horsepower rating is enough. Still not sure? Send us the model and serial number from your plate and we will match it.
