An implement that won't hang level on the three-point hitch, or a fuel filter change nobody logged, is what the 152-page Fiat operator manual (OEM 603.64.276.00) covers for five tractor models. Written for the 60-94, 65-94, 72-94, 82-94 and 88-94 Turbo, this Fiat operator manual PDF walks you through the instruments, range and shuttle shift gearboxes, differential lock, PTO, lift and hitch setup, remote control valves, tires and ballasting. Wiring diagrams trace the circuits for the heated, Supercomfort and air conditioned cab versions, and the maintenance pages run from the service schedule through brake and fuel bleeding to storage prep. Rate your heaviest implement against 2900 kg (6394 lb) of lift at the lower link swivel bushings, falling to 1760 kg (3881 lb) with the center of gravity 1090 mm (43 in) out. Bookmarked and text-searchable, the PDF takes you straight to the page you need.

Fiat 60-94 to 88-94 Turbo Common Problems This Manual Covers

Fiat 94 series fuel system air after filter change or empty tank, engine hard to start

Fill the tank with the engine stopped and cool, away from flame (page 15), and open valve B. For CAV pumps on page 92, back off plug A two turns and pump lever B until fuel runs without bubbles; repeat at plug C on 65-94 through 88-94T. Then crack screw D, crank until it fires, and tighten once air free fuel flows. Bosch steps are on page 93.

Manual Section: Air bleeding the fuel system p. 91
Air in brake hydraulics after brake system work, pedal travel longer than normal

Clean around the bleed screws and reservoir cover, then fill both the RH A and LH B reservoirs and keep them full. Depress the LH pedal slowly over full travel, hold it, open bleed screw C half a turn, then tighten; repeat until fluid runs free of bubbles, then do the RH side per page 90. With a trailer brake valve, bleed C before D. Never reuse unfiltered fluid. Top up after.

Manual Section: Bleeding the brake system p. 90
Battery keeps discharging between uses, electrolyte low and frequent top ups needed

Measure voltage across the poles with a digital voltmeter following page 94: 12.66 V is full charge, 12.30 V is 50 percent. Near 12.30 V, recharge at one tenth of battery capacity in Ah, never on a quick charger, with the shop ventilated and no flames or cigarettes near. Top up with distilled water only, never sulphuric acid, and keep electrolyte off skin and eyes. Frequent discharge means a dealer electrical check.

Manual Section: Battery maintenance and charging p. 94
Tractor will not start on a flat battery and tow starting does not work

Connect an auxiliary battery to a partially discharged battery, positive to positive and negative to negative, per page 95. Skip tow starting; the injection pump electromagnetic fuel cut off prevents it. With a flat or missing battery, install a 12 V starting battery, then replace it with the correct tractor battery. Never run with D+, B+ or the capacitor disconnected.

Manual Section: Battery maintenance and charging p. 95
Several warning lights and gauges dead at once, oil pressure, charging and coolant indicators out

Check fuse F (8 Amp) listed on page 96; it feeds the engine oil pressure warning light and the transmission oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, battery charging and clogged air cleaner indicators. Trace and correct the fault before renewing it. If the engine will not run, check fuse L (8 Amp) on the engine stop solenoid circuit.

Manual Section: Fuses and electrical circuits p. 96
Coolant temperature indicator high during field work, warning stays on after idling down

Check the gauge first: decelerate to idle without stopping the engine, per page 22, and if the indication persists, have the cooling system checked. Verify the coolant is a PARAFLU 11 mix and flush every 1600 work hours or 2 years following page 98, draining only after stopping the engine. The thermostat opens near 85 deg C; if in doubt, have it removed and checked by expert service.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you reset the fault codes on the digital display of the Fiat 94-series tractors?

To reset the digital display after an E4 error code, press the 'CAL' button for about 5 seconds until 'CAL' appears in writing. Trace a 100-meter path, drive the tractor forward, and press the button again when the 100-meter length starts until 'CAL' flashes. Drive the full distance, press the button to memorize the data, and press it again to reset to normal. p. 21

How do you bleed the fuel system on a 60-94 model tractor with a CAV pump?

To bleed the fuel system, back off plug A about two turns and pump using lever B until fuel flows out from the orifice without air bubbles, then tighten the plug. Next, back off screw D about two turns and crank the engine until it starts, then tighten screw D once fuel flows without air. p. 92

What's the engine valve clearance spec for the Fiat 60-94, 65-90, 72-94, 82-94, 88-94 Turbo, 65-94?

The valve clearance for both the inlet and exhaust valves, when the engine is warm or cold, is 0.30 ± 0.05 mm (0.011 ± 0.002 in). p. 102

What is the rear wheel disc to hub tightening torque on Fiat 60-94, 65-90, 72-94, 82-94, 88-94 Turbo, 65-94?

The tightening torque for the rear wheel disc to the hub is 255 N.m (26 kgm or 187 ft.lb). p. 68
