A mounted implement sitting crooked on the three-point hitch usually traces back to one setting nobody wrote down. The Fiat 100-90 operator manual PDF answers it: 114 factory pages under OEM ID 603.64.159.00 for the 90-90 and 100-90 tractors, DT front-wheel-drive versions included. Hydraulic lift operation, lower link positions, remote valves and ballasting each get a section, and the maintenance schedule sets intervals through fuel and brake bleeding. A factory wiring diagram maps the electrical circuits, and the Comfort, Supercomfort and air conditioned cabs get their own pages. Set master clutch pedal free travel to 190 mm (170 mm on cab tractors) and torque wheel nuts to 294 N·m after any track change. Your frame and engine number locations are shown too, so parts get ordered right the first time, and the bookmarked, searchable file finds any spec in seconds.

Fiat 90-90, 100-90 Common Problems This Manual Covers
Fiat 90-90 and 100-90 fuel system air after filter change or empty tank, engine hard to start
Fill the tank and open the fuel valve before bleeding, as page 58 directs. On Bosch pumps, back off plug B two turns and work the lever until fuel runs free of bubbles, retighten, then repeat on plug A. For CAV pumps (100-90 only), follow page 59. When cranking, wait at least one minute between attempts and make no more than six (page 23).
Manual Section: Fuel System Bleeding p. 58Brake hydraulic lines disconnected for service and tractor now shows uneven braking between left and right pedals
Clean around the bleed screws and reservoir cover, then keep both reservoir sections topped up throughout, per page 60. Press the LH pedal slowly and fully, hold it, open bleed plug C half a turn, then close it. Repeat until fluid runs without bubbles. Do the same on the RH circuit, then top up. Never reuse unfiltered fluid. With a hydraulic trailer brake valve, bleed screw C first, then B.
Manual Section: Brake System Bleeding p. 60Engine temperature gauge needle moving into the red zone while working, engine overheating
Return the engine to idle and keep it running. Do not shut it down, as page 20 instructs. If the gauge stays red, inspect the cooling system. Check coolant age: drain, flush and refill every 1,600 hours or two years following page 61. If you suspect the thermostat, which opens at about 85°C, have competent personnel remove and inspect it.
Manual Section: Cooling System Flushing p. 61Engine will not crank on a flat battery and tow starting fails to fire it
Check state of charge with a digital voltmeter across the poles. 12.60 V is full, and below 12.20 V means recharge, per page 62. Do not try tow starting, because the solenoid fuel shut-off blocks it. Connect an auxiliary 12 V battery positive to positive and negative to negative. If the battery is completely flat or removed, expect the engine to stop once the auxiliary battery comes off.
Manual Section: Electrical System (Starting with flat battery) p. 62NO-SPIN front axle making a continuous clicking sound when driving straight ahead
Match the front tires and check inflation. Unequal rolling radii from uneven wear or pressure cause the straight-line click, per page 83. If clicking continues, adjust pressures so both wheels roll the same circle. Every three months, check the unit. Before raising the front end, stop the engine, engage a gear and front drive, and apply the parking brake (page 81).
Manual Section: NO-SPIN Differential Operation p. 83Cab air conditioning dehydrator filter indicator showing air bubbles with engine running at 1500 rpm
Run the engine at 1500 rpm and watch the dehydrator filter indicator. It must stay clear with no bubbles (page 104). Check compressor belt slack, lines, connections and condenser fins. Never loosen fittings, tamper with lines, or repair the system yourself, as page 99 warns. Have skilled servicemen leak-test the system and recharge it with 1.7 kg of Freon R12 so the cab stays usable through harvest.
Manual Section: Air Conditioning Maintenance p. 104Frequently Asked Questions
How do you bleed the fuel system after changing the fuel filter?
For engines with a Bosch pump, back off plug B by two turns and pump lever C until fuel issuing from the plug is free of air bubbles, then retighten. Repeat this process for plug A, and after retightening, depress lever C a few times. For engines with a CAV pump, back off plug F and stroke lever G until fuel is free of air bubbles, then repeat for plug H. p. 58
How do you adjust the master clutch pedal free travel?
The master clutch pedal free travel should be adjusted to 190 mm (7.5 inches), or 170 mm (6.75 inches) for tractors equipped with a cab. This is done by slackening the locknut and turning the nut to obtain the correct adjustment. p. 109
What is the correct valve clearance for the Fiat tractor engine?
The engine valve clearance for both the 90-90 and 100-90 models, whether the engine is warm or cold, is 0.25 mm (0.010 in) for the inlet valves and 0.35 mm (0.014 in) for the exhaust valves. p. 67
What is the torque specification for the front axle wheel nuts on these Fiat tractors?
The wheel nuts on the front axle must be torqued to 294 N·m (30 kgm or 216 ft lb). p. 40
How often should the engine oil and oil filters be changed?
The engine oil and oil filters should be changed every 200 hours of operation. Always ensure the engine is warm when draining the oil. p. 110
