Hunting for the Daewoo Solar 220LL, Solar 290LL shop manual PDF? This is it: 576 pages of factory shop procedures (OEM #2023-7134E) covering both track excavators, from the swing bearing to the boom and stick. The hydraulics section alone is worth the price; you get troubleshooting, testing and adjustment routines, plus rebuild procedures for the main pump, swing motor, travel motor, grapple rotate motor, and main control valve. Full hydraulic and electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and a standard torque chart back up every job. Set your 1/2-inch split flange bolts at 15 to 18 ft lb, and know the fuel tank holds 310 liters (81.9 gallons) before you order diesel. A weeping swing motor won't diagnose itself. Bookmarked and text-indexed; open it on your phone at the machine, search the spec, and get back to digging.

Daewoo Solar 220LL, Solar 290LL Common Problems This Manual Covers

Daewoo Solar 220LL main pump whining under load, engine bogs down, bucket and arm slow

Check reservoir oil level and drain a sample from the pump case; metallic particles mean internal wear, not an adjustment issue. Verify main relief pressure reaches 330 kg/cm2 at the test port, the normal setting listed on page 43. Inspect the suction line for air leaks and confirm the 177 micron intake strainer, page 195, is not clogged.

Manual Section: Main Pump Troubleshooting p. 368
All hydraulic functions slow and weak once oil warms up, no unusual pump noise

Check pilot pressure at the pump first; spec is 40 ±5 bar (580 ±73 psi) on page 202. Low pilot pressure starves the control valve spools and slows every function at once. Replace the 10 micron return line filter, page 195, and inspect drained oil for water or grit before condemning the pump.

Manual Section: Hydraulic System Troubleshooting p. 202
Track keeps derailing or eating sprockets and rollers, tension adjustment will not hold

Measure link pitch across four links with the track tight; new spec is 190.0 mm (7.48 in.) per pitch on page 143. Check grouser height against the 35.0 mm (1.38 in.) new dimension on page 146 and replace shoes at 25.50 mm (1.0 in.). Inspect the grease tension cylinder seal if adjustment keeps bleeding down.

Manual Section: Lower Structure and Chassis p. 143
Engine cranks slowly or will not start in cold weather, batteries test good

Clean and tighten both battery ground cables at the frame before replacing anything. Hold the key in preheat for the full 3.5 seconds, page 517, before cranking in cold weather. Test battery voltage under cranking load, then measure voltage drop across the starter cable; a big drop points to corroded connections, not a bad starter.

Manual Section: Electrical System Troubleshooting p. 517
Swing drive howls and runs hot, oil seeping from the reduction gearbox base

Drain the swing reduction gearbox and inspect the oil for metal flakes or a burnt smell. Refill with exactly 6 liters of gear oil, page 137; overfilling churns and overheats, underfilling starves the upper bearing. Replace the base seal if weeping continues and check swing bearing play while the housing is drained.

Manual Section: Swing Reduction Gearbox Troubleshooting p. 137
