What's inside: three FiatAllis books bound into one 1,257-page file for the FX200, FX200LC crawler excavator - the volumes dealers sold separately. Pages 1-201 are the Operation and Maintenance manual (introduction, operation, inspection and servicing, repair work and the annex). Pages 202-534 are the illustrated Parts Manual: undercarriage, hydraulic and fuel tanks, swings, counter balance, engine, travel and slewing gear, swing brake, hydraulic system, heater, greasing system, electrical system and sheet metal. Pages 535-1257 are the Service Manual - the FiatAllis Technical Handbook - running its numbered sections from How To Use and Specifications through General, Superstructure, Diesel Boxes, Undercarriage, Front-End Attachments, Hydraulic System, Electrical System and Equipment to the EDS operating instructions, fittings, pipes and hoses, welding for maintenance and repair, and the sealing, protective, checking and cleaning agents. On diagrams, precisely: the Technical Handbook explains circuits and refers to them by component number, and it carries sectional views of the hydraulic components and the electrical procedures - including emergency operation of the proportional valve when the electronic regulator fails - but it does not print drawn wiring or hydraulic schematic sheets.

FiatAllis FX200, FX200LC Common Problems This Manual Covers
Warning lamp on (oil pressure, battery charge, hydraulic filter) and you cannot tell if the fault is real or a bad sensor or wire.
Pull up the wiring schematics in the electrical system section and trace the circuit by wire number and connector reference from the sensor through the control lamp module to the Central Electronic Unit. That tells you whether to chase the sensor, the harness or the unit.
Manual Section: Service Manual, 9 - Electrical System p. 396Worn track components - stretched chains, worn rollers and idlers - and you need to know what to replace and what the part numbers are.
The Service Manual undercarriage section covers inspection and repair of the track group, and the Parts Manual undercarriage and track pages give exploded views with part numbers so you order the right rollers, pins and bushings the first time.
Manual Section: Service Manual, 4 - Undercarriage / Parts Manual, Track & Components p. 202Hydraulic leaks at lines and fittings, or slow and weak functions that point deeper into the system.
Start with the fittings, pipes and hoses section for connection and routing problems, then work into the hydraulic system section with the service data specifications to check pressures and settings before condemning a pump or valve.
Manual Section: Service Manual, 8 - Hydraulic System / 12 - Fittings, Pipes and Hoses p. 769Sloppy or worn bucket linkage and pins, or a cracked boom or stick that needs a proper structural repair.
Use the equipment section for the boom, stick and bucket linkage service work, the Parts Manual linkage pages for pin and bushing part numbers, and the welding section for factory-approved repair procedures on cracked structures.
Manual Section: Service Manual, 10 - Equipment / 13 - Welding for Maintenance and Repair p. 535Frequently Asked Questions
Does this set include actual wiring diagrams, or just a parts list for the electrical system?
Real drawn schematics. The wiring set spans several sheets, each with its own title block and drawing number. One example is drawing 2459343-12, the switch and initiator diagram, which lays out the Central Electronic Unit, control lamp module and key module with the circuits for engine oil pressure, air filter, hydraulic oil filter, battery charge, swing brake, swing pressure switch and cooling water level, all with wire numbers and connector references. That is what you need when a warning lamp acts up and you have to trace which sensor or wire is lying to you. p. 396
Is the Parts Manual illustrated well enough to identify undercarriage components for ordering?
Yes. The Parts Manual breaks the machine down by group - undercarriage, track and components, swing gear, superstructure, counterweight, fuel and hydraulic tanks - with exploded views keyed to part numbers. On a machine this age you will be cross-referencing FiatAllis numbers to aftermarket suppliers anyway, and the exploded views tell you exactly which roller, seal or pin you are holding. p. 202
Does the Service Manual cover the hydraulic system in depth?
The hydraulic system has its own section in the Technical Handbook, alongside the electrical system. Combined with the service data section (specifications and settings) and the special tools section, it covers what you need to work through pumps, valves and cylinders rather than guessing. The fittings, pipes and hoses section is a quiet bonus - line routing and connections cause plenty of leaks on these machines. p. 769
What is the EDS section about?
Section 11 of the Service Manual is the EDS operating instructions - the electronic monitoring side of the machine that works with the Central Electronic Unit shown in the wiring diagrams. If your control lamps or monitoring functions behave oddly, you use this section together with the electrical schematics to sort out whether it is a sensor, wiring or the unit itself. p. 1032
Can I weld repairs on the boom or stick using this manual?
The Service Manual includes a dedicated section on welding for maintenance and repair. Boom and stick cracks are a fact of life on excavators that have been worked hard, and doing the repair to factory guidance instead of freehand keeps a crack from walking straight back through your weld. There is also a section on sealing, protective, checking and cleaning agents so you use the right compounds during reassembly. p. 1032
