Implement slams down instead of settling
The Hydraulic Power Lift (HPL) drop rate control valve regulates the flow of oil from the lift cylinder: turn it IN (clockwise) to slow the rate of drop and OUT (counterclockwise) to make the drop fast. Attach the top link in the lower bracket hole for light draft loads such as mowers and in the top hole for heavier ground engaging equipment (page 115).

Check and clean the front radiator screen every 10 hours of operation (page 164). The fan belt should deflect 10 to 13 mm (0.4 to 0.5 in) when 10 kg (22 lb) of pressure is applied midway between the pulleys, and the cooling system holds 4.5 l (4.8 US qt) (page 210).

For low HST power the troubleshooting table lists an oil shortage (add transmission oil), air in the HST circuit (check and repair the hydraulic suction line), transmission oil that is too hot (shut down and let it cool), worn HST internal parts and a clogged HST filter (replace it). If the tractor still moves with the pedals in neutral, adjust the neutral position of the HST linkage (page 206).

The key switch lets the starter run only when the shuttle lever is in neutral, the PTO switch is OFF, the mid PTO lever is OFF (if equipped) and the clutch pedal is depressed; an alarm sounds if the park brake is not engaged (page 118). The operator presence system tables show how the tractor reacts with the operator in or out of the seat and the rear or mid PTO on (page 120).
