New Holland T7510–T7550 Series Common Problems This Manual Covers

Evaporator air not cold, gauges reading low pressure low and high pressure low

The A/C troubleshooting chart in the Cab Climate Control section points to a low refrigerant charge. Perform leak tests and repair the leak, then evacuate the system. Charge the system to the specified 1600 g (56.44 oz) and re-test it.

Manual Section: Air conditioning - Troubleshooting p. 1028
Evaporator air not cold, low pressure high and high pressure low

The Cab Climate Control A/C troubleshooting chart gives the cause as an internal leak in the compressor. Discharge the system and replace the compressor. Then evacuate the system, charge it with refrigerant and re-test it before the tractor goes back to work.

Manual Section: Air conditioning - Troubleshooting p. 1028
Insufficient cooling, low pressure low and high pressure high

The Cab Climate Control A/C troubleshooting chart points to a restriction in the liquid line. Discharge the system and replace the receiver/drier. Inspect all lines and tubing from the compressor outlet to the expansion valve and replace any that need it. Then evacuate, charge and re-test.

Manual Section: Air conditioning - Troubleshooting p. 1029
Compressor cycles on and off too frequently, low pressure high and high pressure normal

The Cab Climate Control A/C troubleshooting chart traces this to a defective temperature control (thermostatic) switch. Stop the engine and shut off the A/C, then replace the temperature control switch. Re-test the system and check that the compressor now cycles correctly.

Manual Section: Air conditioning - Troubleshooting p. 1030

Frequently Asked Questions

Which tractors does the New Holland T7510-T7550 service manual cover?

It covers the T7510, T7520, T7530, T7540 and T7550 with the Continuously Variable Transmission, under part number 47505533, dated February 2013. The electrical section is split into single-battery and dual-battery versions. Suspended front axle variants are covered too. The book does not print an overall serial range, so match it by model and CVT transmission. p. 29

What are the fluid capacities of the New Holland T7510, T7520, T7530, T7540 and T7550?

Fuel tank 310 l (82 US gal). Cooling system 25 l (6.6 US gal). Engine oil including filter 20 l (5.3 US gal). Transmission / rear axle middle section approx. 60 l (15.9 US gal). Hydraulic system / steering approx. 52 l. Front PTO approx. 3 l (0.79 US gal). p. 27

What is the hydraulic pump flow rate on the New Holland T7500 series?

Both pumps are PFC axial piston pumps. The Standard Pump gives max. 105 l/min at 2100 rpm (engine) and is standard in 140, 150 and 160 HP tractors. The Mega Flow Pump gives max. 130 l/min at 2100 min-1 (engine). It is standard on 175 and 195 HP tractors and optional on the 140, 150 and 160 HP tractors. p. 878

At what engine speed does the rear PTO run at 540 and 540E?

The rear PTO reaches 540 at 1870 rpm engine speed and 540E at 1600 rpm engine speed. Front PTO output speed is 1000 RPM. p. 706

Does the New Holland T7510-T7550 service manual include wiring diagrams, hydraulic schemas and fault codes?

Yes. It has electrical functional schematics for ADIC, EEM3, FMGR/SGR, ECCU3, EDC, the suspended front axle, CAN bus and ISO bus. It also has harness schematic frames for single and dual battery tractors, CVT hydraulic schemas and CCLS high-pressure schematics. Fault codes are indexed by controller, for example 54 Power supply undervoltage on A71 and 250 CAN Bus OFF on ADIC. p. 1872
