Part of the New Holland Operator Manuals.
New Holland operator manual 82999233 takes the TS-A series tractor from cab controls through field setup and scheduled service, with 334 pages covering four variants from the TS100A to the TS135A. Field operation fills nearly a third of this New Holland TS115A operator manual PDF: electronic draft control, headland turn sequences, rear PTO, remote hydraulics, three-point linkage, wheel track adjustment and ballasting. Your maintenance chart steps from the 10-hour daily checks to the 1800-hour and three-year intervals, backed by explanations of the warning lights, Dual Command and Electro Command gear selection, and engine, transmission and hydraulic troubleshooting. Top up the rear axle with no more than 20 liters (5.28 U.S. gal), and torque disc-to-hub wheel nuts to 294 N·m (217 ft-lb) after a track change. A tractor down in hay weather costs daylight. The PDF is bookmarked and text-searchable, so it goes with you on a phone in the cab or a laptop on the shop bench.

New Holland TS100A, TS115A, TS125A, TS135A Common Problems This Manual Covers
New Holland TS100A to TS135A three-point linkage does not move when the control lever is moved
Check the fast raise switch first. If it sits in the external control position, put it back in the correct position. Following page 290, put the lift control lever back in phase with the lower links, then adjust the height limit control. If an error code shows, stop there and see your authorized dealer.
Manual Section: Three-Point Linkage Troubleshooting p. 290Three-point linkage drops slowly and is slow to respond to draft loads
Adjust the drop rate control first. Page 290 lists a drop rate set too slow as a cause of both symptoms. Then adjust the position/draft control. If the linkage turns too responsive or the status light flashes continually, the position/draft control is still out. Once the settings check out, check the implement against its own operators manual.
Manual Section: Three-Point Linkage Troubleshooting p. 290Remote equipment cylinder does not operate or runs too fast or too slowly from the remote valve
Before you touch any hose, stop the engine and relieve circuit pressure. Move the remote control valve lever fully forward to float, then back to neutral (page 163). Never work under raised equipment, because it drops when the pressure is released. Attach the hoses correctly, adjust the flow control, and adjust the lever cables if movement is restricted. If the load exceeds system capacity, reduce it.
Manual Section: Hydraulics Troubleshooting p. 289Hydraulic oil overheats while running remote equipment through the tractor remote control valves
Check the hydraulic oil level and correct it. Page 289 lists both too low and too high as causes. Stop the engine before any service (page 20), then clean the hydraulic oil cooler and replace the oil filters. The service replacement filter measures 254 mm long by 116.8 mm in diameter (page 219). Let the oil cool and adjust the flow control. If the load doesn't match the tractor, see your dealer.
Manual Section: Hydraulics Troubleshooting p. 289Engine overheats with the temperature gauge climbing under heavy draft load in the field
Check the engine oil level and fill the coolant recovery tank. Never remove the radiator top cap until the expansion tank pressure cap is off (page 20). Never spray a cold water jet on a hot engine (page 11). Clean a dirty radiator core, check the thermostats, replace a faulty pressure cap (1.0 bar, page 311) and check the automatic belt tensioner. Then shift down or reduce ballast.
Manual Section: Engine Troubleshooting p. 285Dual Command transmission runs at high operating temperature with low transmission oil pressure
Stop the engine before any service (page 20). Check the transmission oil level and add oil as required. If the grade or viscosity is wrong, drain and refill with oil of the correct specification. Clean a dirty or blocked transmission oil cooler and replace a blocked transmission oil filter, following page 287. On Electro Command tractors, page 288 lists the same checks.
Manual Section: Transmission Troubleshooting - Dual Command p. 287Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reset the transmission or electronic fault codes on a New Holland TS-A tractor?
If a fault occurs, the malfunction symbol and a four or five-digit error code will appear in the Dot Matrix Display. You should contact your authorized dealer and report the error code to them. The first digit of the code indicates the area of the fault, such as 2 for transmission or 1 for electronic draft control. p. 283
How do I reset the service reminder on a New Holland TS-A tractor?
To program service reminders, use the enhanced keypad. With the key-start in the ON position, press and hold the Menu/Enter key for 3 seconds to enter the setup menu. Scroll through the menu until the service reminder symbol appears, then follow the prompts to set the desired engine hours for the light or heavy service interval. p. 80
What are the torque specifications for the wheel nuts on a New Holland TS-A tractor?
For two-wheel drive models, the front disc to hub nuts should be tightened to 133 N⋅m (98 ft-lb). For four-wheel drive models with adjustable front wheels, the front disc to hub nuts are 294 N⋅m (217 ft-lb) and the front disc to rim nuts are 250 N⋅m (184 ft-lb). p. 242
What is the engine oil capacity for a TS100A tractor?
The engine oil capacity for the TS100A model, including the filter, is 10 liters (10.6 U.S. quarts). p. 250
What is the valve tappet clearance for the TS100A and TS115A engines?
With the engine cold, the intake valve tappet clearance is 0.25 ± 0.05 mm (0.009 ± 0.002 in.) and the exhaust valve tappet clearance is 0.51 ± 0.05 mm (0.02 ± 0.002 in.). p. 267
