Part of the New Holland Operator Manuals.
Electrical faults are the hardest thing to chase on a utility tractor, so the 141-page New Holland TT60A, TT75A operator manual PDF (OEM ID 87473188) gives you the complete electrical schematic, then widens to safety, operation, lubrication, maintenance, specifications and predelivery checks. Troubleshooting charts sort engine, hydraulic and electrical complaints by symptom, so a dead starter or a lazy three-point hitch points toward a likely cause before any panels come off. Instrument panel lights, hand controls and switches are explained one at a time, and the lubrication and maintenance schedule sets every interval from the air cleaner onward. Fill the transmission with 29 liters (7.7 gal), set fan/alternator belt play to 10 to 11 mm mid-run, and bring rear disc to hub bolts to 260 Nm (192 ft-lb). Print the chapters you need for the bench and keep the bookmarked, searchable file for reference.

New Holland TT60A, TT75A Common Problems This Manual Covers
New Holland TT60A or TT75A tractor engine will not start or is very difficult to start
Put both transmission levers in neutral and crank only from the operator's seat (page 40). Check fuel level, bleed air from the fuel system, and replace a clogged fuel filter as the chart on page 106 lists. Crank no longer than 15 seconds, then wait one minute before trying again (page 44). A faulty injector or choked fuel system goes to your Authorized Dealer.
Manual Section: Engine Troubleshooting p. 106Tractor engine running hot and overheating under heavy load during long days of field work
Stop the engine first; never service the tractor with it running (page 70). The cooling system is under pressure, so open it carefully (page 14). Top up coolant and check for leaks, clean clogged radiator core and fins, and tighten hose connections. Check fan/alternator belt play at 10 to 11 mm mid-run (page 80) and replace a worn belt. Replace a defective cap or thermostat, and drop a gear if overloaded.
Manual Section: Engine Troubleshooting p. 107Engine oil pressure warning light glows steady on the instrument panel while running
Stop the engine as soon as the light comes on, as page 26 directs, and check oil with the engine off (page 70). Top up the oil level if it is low. If the level is right and the light persists, drain and refill with oil of the correct grade and viscosity per page 107. If it still glows, suspect the oil pump and call your Authorized Dealer.
Manual Section: Engine Troubleshooting p. 107Hydraulic lift and three-point hitch working poorly or hydraulic fluid overheating during field work
Check the area under the implement before lowering it to the ground (page 45), then shut the engine off before any service (page 70). Check transmission/hydraulic oil level; top up if low or reduce if overfilled, since both cause overheating per page 109. Replace a clogged hydraulic filter with a genuine New Holland element, tightening 3/4 of a turn after the faces meet (page 91). A weak lift pump is a dealer job.
Manual Section: Hydraulic System Troubleshooting p. 109Remote auxiliary hydraulic control does not work after hooking up an implement cylinder
Check that every implement hose is connected correctly and that the couplings are the correct type; incorrect couplings and misconnected hoses are both listed causes on page 109. Reconnect anything that is wrong. If the cylinder still will not move, the system is overloaded: reduce the load or switch to a suitable cylinder, and you are back in the field before the weather turns.
Manual Section: Hydraulic System Troubleshooting p. 109Starter motor does not work or turns slowly when the key is turned to start
Move the main gearshift and Hi-Low selector levers to neutral; engaged gears stop the starter. Clean and tighten loose or corroded connections, check electrolyte level, and recharge or replace a discharged battery per page 110. Wear eye protection when charging the battery or jump starting, and start only from the driver's seat (page 40). Battery gas is explosive (page 14). A defective starter motor goes to your Authorized Dealer.
