Securing the wheel loader prior to beginning work is the first job laid out in this 308-page Takeuchi TW65 service manual PDF, OEM ID 8015739, written for the TW65 wheel loader from the articulated pendulum joint through to the operator's cab. The hydraulic circuit diagram traces the travel pump, charge pump, travel motor, steering unit, inching valve and priority valve, while the electrical circuit diagrams map the fuses, relays, preheat relay, starter motor and control board. Most chapters carry fault, cause and solution tables. Confirm the pressure limitation valve opens at 230 bar, and tighten hydraulic hose connections to 85 + 5 Nm where the procedure calls for it. If your parts order includes a control unit timing belt or foot brake laminated disks for the rear axle, you have the replacement procedure for each one here. Paid for once, the bookmarked, text-searchable file stays yours to keep for this TW65.

Takeuchi TW65 Common Problems This Manual Covers
Takeuchi TW65 lift arms will not hold position, hoisting gear sinks down and attachment tips on its own
Check the hoisting gear cylinders and hoses for leaks and repair them first, following the chart on page 63. If the cylinders are tight, check the secondary valves and look for a jammed or leaking control piston in the control block. Do not replace individual control pistons (page 126). Before working on the control block, raise the hoisting gear and secure it with a hoisting gear support, as page 117 requires.
Manual Section: Hydraulic System Faults p. 63Hydraulic oil temperature runs too high and cools too slowly during loading work
Park on level ground and check the oil level in the hydraulic oil tank. Top up only with the same hydraulic oil already in the circuit (page 163). Clean the hydraulic oil cooler from the fan side outwards, keeping clear of rotating parts (page 161). Verify the fan draws air in from outside, then check fuse F13 (40A) and the temperature switch in the pump set, as page 60 lists.
Manual Section: Hydraulic System Faults p. 60Steering circuit on the priority valve side feels weak, steering too slow or intermittent
Measure steering pressure at gauge point H on the priority valve, following page 64. If the primary pressure limitation valve in the Lenkorbitrol opens under 170 bar, check it per the Setting Instructions. If pressure builds but steering still fails, look at the steering unit or steering cylinder. Before working on the cylinder, raise the hoisting gear and secure it with a hoisting gear support (page 135).
Manual Section: Hydraulic System Faults p. 64Loader will not drive off even though engine speed rises and travel direction is selected
Check that the parking brake is released. Verify the high pressure limitation valves were screwed back in after towing and tighten them to 60 Nm, per page 61. Check fuse F15. Test the travel direction valve circuit only with the engine off and the ignition on (page 94). To check the inching valve, measure travel pressure at max engine speed against an obstruction able to resist the loader (page 77).
Manual Section: Hydraulic System Faults p. 61Diesel engine temperature climbs too high and the temperature indicator appears during work
Inspect the oil cooler fins and clean them if soiled. Then check for a defective fan or a broken or slack fan belt, as the chart on page 217 lists. Tension the fan belt to 450 N ± 20% pretension and re-tension it to 350 N ± 20%, following page 225. Check for cooling air heating (thermal short circuit) and too little cooling air volume.
Manual Section: Diesel Engine Faults p. 217Articulated joint makes noise when steering or angular movements of the pendulum joint feel jerky
Clean and grease the articulated joint and pendulum bearing, following page 24. Grease all six greasing points on the articulated pendulum joint daily and the steering cylinder points monthly. If noise persists after cleaning and greasing, the bearing is defective. Replace it and tighten the screw connections to the prescribed torque from the Tightening Torques table.
