Bomag BW 174 no vibration or weak amplitude on either drum, exciter will not start

Check charge pressure in the vibration circuit first; it must hold 26 ±1 bar per the test procedure on page 30. Then measure starting pressure when you switch vibration on: spec is 400 ±10 bar, settling to roughly 80 to 100 bar operating on soil. Low starting pressure points to a worn vibration pump or relief valve.
