Fitment first: this is publication Sva 6-21220, and its title page reads CASE CS110, CS120, CS130 and CS150. The Case CS110 operator manual PDF walks you through the instrument panel and indicator lamps, then hands over driving and operational chapters that carry the bulk of the book: transmission ranges, crawler gear, rear and front PTO engagement, three-point linkage setup, auxiliary control units, differential lock and four-wheel drive. Ballast and track width tables tell you where to set the rear axle before you hang an implement on it. Fill the CS110 engine with 14.0 litres of oil, 20.0 litres on the CS120, CS130 and CS150, and confirm 18 bar of transmission system pressure before you chase a hydraulic complaint. A tractor parked mid-season costs you daylight. Bookmarked and searchable by keyword, it gets the tractor running again before the weather turns.

Case CS110, CS120, CS130, CS150 Common Problems This Manual Covers

Case CS110 dash goes dead or engine won't crank when the key is turned

Check the battery master switch is ON before anything else. Inspect the main fuse F40, rated 100 Amps, in the layout on page 232, then check the 20 Amp ignition switch supply fuse F30 on the same page. Clean corroded battery terminals and retighten. Battery service steps start around page 212.

Forward and reverse shuttle feels weak or slips under load

Stop and let the transmission oil warm before judging it. Verify the transmission and hydraulic system holds its 72 litre fill level as listed on page 183, since a low charge starves the shuttle clutch. Transmission system pressure of 18 bar must be available per page 111. Check fuse F19 and F24 for the transmission electronics on page 231.

Fault code appears on the instrument display and the tractor drops into limp mode

Read the code off the display and match it against the fault code tables on pages 73 through 75, which also cover the driving programmes and the emergency driving programme. Turn the ignition OFF, wait, then ON to see if the code clears. Confirm fuse F19, rated 7,5 Amps on page 231, is intact before you chase sensors.

PTO or differential lock switch works intermittently or not at all

Check that the operator is seated and the PTO switch is cycled through its neutral position before engaging. Inspect fuse F13 for the front and rear differential, rated 10 Amps on page 231. PTO shaft operating procedures begin on page 107.

Front axle drive feels rough or steering pulls hard in four wheel drive

Check front axle oil levels first. Drain and refill intervals for the front axle differential and planetary oil are covered on pages 208 and 209. Verify tyre sizes match an approved wheel drive combination starting on page 161, since mismatched rolling radius fights the axle. Torque the front wheel securing nuts to 280 (+ or -30) Nm per page 173.

Engine oil pressure or temperature warning lamp lights up during field work

Shut down immediately and let the engine cool. Check the oil level on the dipstick against the capacity listed on page 183: 14.0 litres on the CS110. Clear chaff and crop trash off the radiator screen, then check coolant level. Indicator lamp meanings are shown in the instrument panel section starting on page 21.
