What's inside: the full workshop repair manual for the Renault Temis 550, 610, 630 and 650 (2000 to 2002), the same tractors later sold under the Claas badge. This is teardown-level material, not an operator's booklet. It walks the DPS and IVECO engines out of the frame, through cylinder head, timing and rebuild, then covers the Bosch VE 6/11 F injection pump with per-model static timing angles (9 or 5 degrees, plus or minus 0.5) and proper bleed procedure. Clutch, gearbox, shuttle, range and creeper units, rear axle and diff lock, oil-bath brakes, the A86-3/A88-4 front axles, low-pressure and main hydraulics, wiring, and the Tractonic instrument panel diagnosis all get their own sections.

Claas Renault Temis 550, Temis 610, Temis 630, Temis 650 Common Problems This Manual Covers
Oil weeping from the bottom cover of the main gearbox, a known weak point on these boxes
The Gearbox and Transmission section covers dropping the bottom cover, replacing the seal and the sealing bush behind it, and reassembling with the gasket seated properly so the leak does not come straight back after refilling.
Manual Section: Gearbox and TransmissionGears hard to select or the shuttle refusing to find neutral after work on the box
Usually the control levers were not set to neutral before disturbing the linkage. The Gearbox and Transmission section gives the correct lever positions and reassembly sequence for the shuttle, range and creeper controls so everything indexes properly.
Manual Section: Gearbox and TransmissionHard starting, uneven running or smoke after injection pump work
Nine times out of ten it is static timing or air in the system. The Fuel Injection System section gives the per-model static adjustment angle for the Bosch VE 6/11 F pump and the full bleed procedure, plus supply pump flow and pressure checks to rule out fuel delivery.
Manual Section: Fuel Injection SystemWeak or uneven braking from the oil-bath discs, or a pedal that keeps needing adjustment
The Brakes section covers complete overhaul of the oil-bath disc brakes: stripping the packs, measuring disc wear against limits, replacing worn plates and seals, then setting the adjustment so both sides pull evenly instead of dragging one wheel.
Manual Section: BrakesFrequently Asked Questions
Does it give the injection pump timing and fuel specs, or just remove-and-replace steps?
It gives the numbers. Bosch VE 6/11 F pump, types 1175 R 860, 1125 R 861 and 1125 R 859 depending on model, static adjustment at 9 or 5 degrees plus or minus 0.5 per model, injection sequence 1-5-3-6-2-4, tick-over at 850 rpm plus or minus 25, and max no-load at 2,575 or 2,475 rpm. Supply pump checks are in there too: double membrane type, minimum 100 L/hr flow and 0.35 bar at tick-over. Enough to set a pump up properly, not just bolt it on.
My Temis has electronic controls on the dash. Does this manual cover error codes and resets?
Set expectations straight: this is a mechanical-injection tractor, not a common-rail machine, so there are no engine fault codes and no scan tool to plug in. What it does have is a dedicated section on the instrument panel and the Tractonic electronic control unit that runs the transmission, with operation and diagnosis procedures. If your display or Tractonic is acting up, that section is where you sort it, with a multimeter and the wiring diagrams, not a code reader.
Which engines does it actually cover? I've heard the 550 is different from the rest.
Correct, and the manual handles both. The 550 runs the DPS (John Deere family) engine while the 610, 630 and 650 carry IVECO H-series units. Removal, teardown, cylinder head work, timing and full rebuild procedures are covered for both engine families, and the fuel section splits DPS and IVECO injection supply the same way. You won't be guessing which procedure applies to your tractor.
I need to split the tractor for a clutch. Is this manual detailed enough for that job?
Yes. This is the repair manual the dealer workshops used, so clutch removal, inspection, adjustment and replacement are laid out step by step. Behind that, the gearbox section covers full disassembly and reconditioning of the box, shuttle, range and creeper units, so if you find worn parts once you're split, you're not stuck halfway.
Does it cover the 4WD front axle and the oil-bath brakes?
Both. There's a section on the four-wheel-drive unit and service for the A86-3 and A88-4 front axles, and a separate section on overhauling and adjusting the oil-bath disc brakes. Rear axle, differential, diff lock and final drives get their own coverage as well, so the whole driveline is in one document.
