Check the tank level first; the system holds 90 liters, and a low level pulls air into the suction line. Bleed air from the hydraulic system and confirm the pump case is filled with oil before restarting (page 291). Replace the hydraulic filter every 500 hours per the interval on page 292, sooner if oil looks milky.

Test pilot pressure with a gauge on the pilot line; spec on page 394 is 28 kg/cm2 at full 6.5 mm lever stroke. If pressure reads low, check the pilot relief valve, set pressure 30 ±0.2 kg/cm2 (427 psi) per page 310. Replace the pilot filter and inspect the gear pump for wear if pressure still won't come up.
