This is the factory repair set for the Hitachi EX-5 series mid-to-large excavators: EX220-5, EX300-5, EX300LC-5, EX330LC-5, EX350H-5, EX350LCH-5, EX370-5 and EX370HD-5, built 1998-2004. It combines the Technical Manual (system operation, performance standards, troubleshooting) with the Workshop Manual (teardown and rebuild of every major component). You get pump device, control valve, swing and travel device service, boom/arm/bucket and cylinder work, undercarriage repair, and a full ISUZU 6SD1 engine section from removal through rebuild. The performance test chapter gives the actual numbers - 258 L/min per main pump, 31.4 MPa main relief, 34.3 MPa on power boost - so you can measure a tired machine against factory spec instead of guessing.
