All 120 pages of this Kubota MX4800, MX5200, and MX5800 operator manual zero in on one job: running and maintaining your tractors the way Kubota engineered them. You get daily pre-operation checklists, instrument panel warning indicators, complete DPF regeneration procedures, 3-point hitch position and draft control, PTO operation, and auxiliary hydraulics setup covering all three models. Inside, you will find interval schedules from daily walkarounds to 3000-hour DPF muffler cleaning, plus engine and powertrain troubleshooting tables with error code display. Torque your front 4WD wheel bolts to 124.0-147.0 N-m (91.5-108.4 ft-lbs); rear bolts want 196.0-225.0 N-m (144.6-166.0 ft-lbs). No more chasing service intervals on the wrong page. Bookmarked by section, so pull it up on your phone, walk to the tractor, and work through it.

Kubota MX4800, MX5200, MX5800 Common Problems This Manual Covers
Kubota MX4800 engine overheating indicator flashes during heavy bush-hogging and coolant boils over into the overflow reservoir. p. 89
Stop the engine, but don't stop it suddenly; allow it to idle for about 5 minutes. Then, inspect the radiator screen and grille for grass or debris buildup. Check the radiator hoses for leaks, as they require replacement every 4 years per the schedule on page 89. Refill the coolant reservoir once the engine cools.
Manual Section: TroubleshootingDPF regeneration warning light stays illuminated and soot accumulates rapidly when operating at low RPM. p. 33
Run the engine at the rated 2700 rpm to raise exhaust temperatures for auto regeneration as detailed on page 33. Check the exhaust aftertreatment devices. If the indicator flashes while in inhibit mode, move to a safe area and initiate a parked regeneration cycle.
Manual Section: Operating the EngineEngine cranks slowly or clicks repeatedly but will not start during freezing temperatures in the morning. p. 100
Test the battery voltage and ensure it meets the 600 A CCA minimum rating listed on page 100. Inspect the terminals for corrosion and clean if necessary. If the battery shows a white indicator window on page 99, replace it with a new 80D26R type.
Manual Section: Periodic ServiceLoader responds slowly and three-point hitch struggles to lift heavy implements when the fluid is warm. p. 24
Verify the transmission case fluid level is correct and holds the required 44.0 L (11.6 U.S.gals.) capacity. Inspect the transmission filter for restrictions. Verify the implement weight does not exceed the maximum lift force of 1300 kg (2870 lbs.) at the lift points shown on page 24.
