This is the factory repair manual for the New Holland T5.95, T5.105 and T5.115 tractors, the same document a dealer technician works from. It follows the CNH product structure: engine, clutch, transmission, four-wheel drive, axles, PTO, brakes, hydraulics, hitches, steering, wheels, electrical and cab. All three tractors share the FPT four-cylinder 3400 cm3 common-rail engine, so the difference between them is rating rather than hardware. The electrical section is the bulk of the book, running from page 748 to page 2141, and most of it is harness drawings, connector views and the engine ECU fault-code tables with their guided test procedures.

New Holland T5.95, T5.105, T5.115 Common Problems This Manual Covers

The dash throws an engine fault code and the tractor derates.

Read the code, then work the guided test rather than swapping the sensor. The fault-code section lists each ECU code with the test type, the conditions that set it and the step-by-step diagnostic that follows, and it covers the diesel particulate filter and emissions codes that derate a Tier 4 engine. When the test sends you to a circuit, the harness drawings and connector pin-out tables in the same section show you exactly which pin to back-probe.

Manual Section: Electrical Systems: Warning Indicators and Fault Codes
The rear lift is slow, will not hold, or a remote valve leaks down.

Start with pressure, not parts. The hydraulic section gives the pump and supply circuit specifications and the pressure test points, so you can separate a tired pump from a lift or remote valve that has drifted. It then covers the rear lift with its electronic draft control, the remote control valves and the schematics, with removal and overhaul procedures for the pump and the lift housing. Remember the draft control is electronic on this tractor, so check for a stored fault code before you strip anything.

Manual Section: Hydraulic Systems
The engine is down on power, smokes, or will not make its rated speed.

Check the numbers first. Rated power comes at 2300 rpm, and peak torque at 1500 rpm, so a tractor that falls over below 1500 rpm behaves differently from one that never reaches rated speed. Do not chase valve clearances: the T5 uses hydraulic lash control and needs no adjustment. Work the engine section for the turbocharger and intercooler, the Bosch HPCR CP4.1 common rail and its filtration, and pull any stored ECU code before you touch the injectors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which tractors does this manual cover?

The T5.95, T5.105 and T5.115. All three run the same FPT four-cylinder 3400 cm3 turbocharged common-rail engine with a 99 mm bore and a 110 mm stroke, so the difference between them is the power rating: 73 kW (99 Hp) on the T5.95, 79 kW (107 Hp) on the T5.105 and 84 kW (114 Hp) on the T5.115, all at 2300 rpm.

Does it cover the fault codes and the wiring?

Yes, and that is most of the book. The electrical section runs from page 748 to page 2141. It carries the complete harness drawings, connector views and pin-out tables, the starting and charging circuits, the electronic control modules, and the engine ECU fault-code tables with the guided test procedure behind each code, including the diesel particulate filter and emissions faults.

Do I need to adjust the valve clearances?

No. The T5 engine uses hydraulic valve lash control, so the clearance between the valves and the rocker arms is set automatically and no manual adjustment is required. That is a real difference from the older TN and TL tractors, where the clearances are shimmed by hand and drift with hours.

What torque do these engines make?

Peak torque comes at 1500 rpm: 407 N.m (300 lb ft) on the T5.95, 444 N.m (327 lb ft) on the T5.105 and 461 N.m (340 lb ft) on the T5.115, with a torque rise of 34, 35 and 32 percent respectively. Power measured at the PTO is 62.7 kW (85.1 Hp), 68.6 kW (93.3 Hp) and 73.9 kW (100.4 Hp).

How big is the manual and can I search it?

It is 2173 pages in English, a searchable and printable PDF. Search the text, print the pages you need for the bench, and keep the rest on a laptop in the workshop.

What format is this New Holland T5.95, T5.105, T5.115 manual in?

Immediate download of the complete 2173-page searchable Repair Manual (84 MB). Access it on any device, from a laptop at your desk to a phone in the field.
