DEF/AdBlue is a 32.5 % aqueous urea solution defined by ISO 22241-1; do not add anti-gelling or freeze point improvers (page 408). Store it between -11 °C (12 °F) and 30 °C (86 °F) in an approved, tightly closed container, since storage above 30 °C (86 °F) greatly reduces its typical 6-12 month shelf life (page 408).
