Machine won't drive because the parking brake stays applied
The parking lock needs 15 bar (218 psi) to release, and the Brakes and controls section covers the parking brake. If release pressure is low, go back through the charge circuit in the Hydrostatic drive section. Charge relief there should read 24 to 25 bar at 1800 RPM.

Check the main relief on the main control valve against 233 to 243 bar (3379 to 3524 psi). The Hydraulic systems section also covers the gear pump, reservoir, cooler and filters. Rule those out before you start adjusting the loader valve.

In the Hydrostatic drive section, start with charge pressure, then check the drive circuit pressure limiter valves at 360 to 378 bar. The section covers pump and motor components and the mechanical control linkage. Use it to work out whether the pump, a drive motor or the control is at fault.

Can I work TV450 fault codes without the Case EST?
You can do most of the work. Each code has its own procedure with the cause and the solution, so you can trace the harness, connector or module yourself. The manual says codes are cleared with the Electronic Service Tool (EST). For that last step, plan on dealer access or a compatible tool. p. 1698
What are the charge and drive pressure specs for the hydrostatic pump on the Case TV450?
Charge pressure relief is 24 to 25 bar (350 to 370 psi) at 1800 RPM. The drive circuit pressure limiter valves are set at 360 to 378 bar (5220 to 5481 psi). These figures apply to the 46 cm³ (2.8 in³) Sauer-Danfoss pump on mechanical drive machines. Check charge pressure first, because low charge hurts everything downstream of it. p. 177
How much hydraulic oil does the TV450 hold?
The reservoir holds 22.7 L (6.0 US gal), and the whole system holds 45.4 L (12.0 US gal). Use the reservoir figure for a routine filter service. Use the system figure after a job that drains the lines or cylinders. The Introduction lists the hydraulic oil recommendations next to the capacities. p. 25
Will this manual match my machine's serial number?
It covers PIN NHM435463 and above, Tier 4B final. The engine listed for North America is the F5BFL413A*B007. If your PIN is lower, you have an earlier build and some specs may be different. Check the serial plate before you rely on any setting. p. 1
How much oil goes in each final track drive?
Each side takes 1.0 L (1.06 US qt), plus or minus 0.1 L. The same figure is listed for the TR340, TV380 and TV450. While you have the drain pan out, crankcase oil with a filter change is 8.5 L (9.0 US qt). p. 25
