What's inside: This is the factory parts catalogue for the Ford 2610 tractor, 839 pages served through the New Holland Agriculture parts system, which identifies the machine as (2610) - 3 CYL AG TRACTOR ALL PURPOSE (1/81-4/83). Every figure is an exploded view backed by a table whose rows print Diag #, Part #, Name, Description and Qty. The book is built from sixteen section files. It opens with a section index, then works through the engine block, crankshaft and valve train, the gasoline and diesel fuel systems, transmission cases, gears and shift controls, cooling, the rear axle, differential and centre housing, electrical lamps, wiring looms and starting, front axle and steering, hydraulics, linkage and drawbar, sheet metal, fenders and hood, wheels, weights and bumpers, the instrument panel, decals, seats, brakes and brake controls, a miscellaneous section of paints, tools, cylinders and tow hooks, and closes with the cab, roll bars and cab systems. There are no repair procedures here, no torque values, no troubleshooting and no wiring or hydraulic diagrams. It is a parts identification book and nothing else. Two features make it actually usable. First, shared rows print their model applicability, so a part common to the 2310, 2810, 2910, 3610, 3910, 4110 or 4610 is marked as such on the line. Second, figures are labelled by market, (U.S.), (NH-E), U.K., Brazil and others, and by build date, with ranges like (81/4-83) and (84/-), so you can match a part to your tractor's exact build.

Ford 2610 Common Problems This Manual Covers
I ordered a radiator that matched the picture and it did not fit. It turned out my 2610 was a later build than the figure I used.
Figures in this catalogue carry build-date labels such as (81/4-83) and (84/-), and the same part can appear in more than one figure for different build windows. Before ordering cooling parts, open the Cooling System section, pages 200 to 210, find the figure whose date range matches your tractor's build date, and take the part number from that figure, not from the one that simply looks right.
Manual Section: Cooling SystemThe figure I need lists half a dozen tractors, 2310, 2910, 3610 and more, and I cannot tell which line applies to my 2610.
Each row prints its own model applicability. In the Engine - Block, Crankshaft & Valve Train section, pages 2 to 49, shared figures cover several tractors on the same page; read across the row for the part you want and confirm the 2610 is named on it before you order. If the row names only the 2310 or the 3610, that part number is not yours.
Manual Section: Engine - Block, Crankshaft & Valve TrainI ordered fuel-system parts and received carburetor pieces, but my 2610 is a diesel.
Gasoline and diesel engines have separate figures throughout the book. In the Fuel System - Gasoline & Diesel section, pages 50 to 116, the rotor injection pump, injector assemblies and fuel filters belong to the diesel, while the carburetor assemblies and repair kits belong to the gasoline engine. Identify your engine first, then order only from the figures drawn for it.
Manual Section: Fuel System - Gasoline & DieselThe steering part I ordered did not fit because my tractor has a cab, and apparently that changes the part.
The catalogue draws separate figures for with-cab and without-cab builds. In the Front Axle & Steering section, pages 359 to 457, the power steering gear appears both with and without cab, and the same split shows up elsewhere, for example brake pedals and linkage with cab on pages 666 to 688 and the transmission oil cooling system with cab. Check whether the figure you are reading is the cab or the no-cab version before taking the part number.
Manual Section: Front Axle & SteeringFrequently Asked Questions
Is this a repair manual for the Ford 2610?
No. This is a parts catalogue: exploded figures with part-number tables, each row listing Diag #, Part #, Name, Description and Qty. It contains no repair procedures, no torque values, no troubleshooting and no wiring or hydraulic diagrams. If you need to identify and order the correct part for a 2610, this is the right book. If you need instructions for taking the tractor apart and putting it back together, it is not.
My 2610 was built outside the 1/81 to 4/83 window in the header. Can I still use this catalogue?
The catalogue header identifies the machine as 3 CYL AG TRACTOR ALL PURPOSE (1/81-4/83), but individual figures carry their own build-date ranges, with labels like (81/4-83) and (84/-), and they also split by market: (U.S.), (NH-E), U.K., Brazil, Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Match both the date range and the market label on the figure to your tractor before ordering, because a part that looks identical can differ between builds.
The figures list other tractors besides the 2610. Which models does this catalogue actually cover?
The part rows print their own model applicability, and it goes well beyond the 2610. The 2310, 2810, 2910, 3610, 3910, 4110, 4610 and 4610SU appear on shared figures, along with the V variants, the 230A and 530A, and the 231, 234, 334 and 335. Where a figure fits several tractors the catalogue says so on the row, so you read the line that names your model and take the part number from there.
My 2610 is a diesel. Are the gasoline and diesel parts mixed together?
No, they are drawn separately. Both 3-cylinder engines are covered, with separate figures for each. The Fuel System section, pages 50 to 116, carries the rotor injection pump, injector assemblies and fuel filters for the diesel alongside the carburetor assemblies and repair kits for the gasoline engine, and the engine section on pages 2 to 49 covers block and head parts for both engines.
Does it cover cab and roll bar parts?
Yes. The final section, pages 741 to 839, covers the cab, roll bars and cab systems: front, side, rear and lower glass with weatherstrip, cab trim and underbody, the cab electrical system, the heater and hoses, the windshield washer and soft side cabs. Several chassis sections also draw separate with-cab figures, for example the power steering gear and the brake pedals and linkage.
