From lift cylinder teardown through drive axle and brake repair to control card setup, this JLG 26MRT service manual PDF (OEM 3120892) walks every system on this scissor lift across 62 pages. Hydraulic schematics map the lift, steer, and drive circuits so you can trace a pressure problem line by line, and wiring diagrams do the same for the electrical side. Troubleshooting fills roughly the final third of the book, pairing symptoms with hydraulic circuit checks that end at a specific component. Check drive pump output against the rated 56.8 lpm (15 gpm) at 3,000 rpm, then torque the wheel lug nuts to 122 Nm (90 ft lb) on reassembly. A drifting platform won't say which holding valve let go. Bookmarks and a live text layer put the cylinder checking procedure two clicks from the cover.

JLG 26MRT Common Problems This Manual Covers

JLG 26MRT drive and steer functions dead until engine runs 15 minutes, then works normally

Check hydraulic oil grade first; oil too heavy for the climate starves the drive pump until it warms. Verify tank level against the 56.8 liter capacity, then test drive pump flow, which should reach 56.8 lpm (15 gpm) at 3,000 rpm. Follow the troubleshooting procedures starting on page 46, and replace the 10 micron return filter if bypassing.

Manual Section: Troubleshooting p. 46
Machine will not drive in either direction, brakes stay locked, lift works fine

Verify the platform emergency stop and all interlocks before condemning parts. Test main system pressure at the relief; you need 145 bar (2100 psi). If pressure is good, check brake release pressure at the hubs, tracing the circuit on the hydraulic schematic on page 58, and inspect drive controller wiring against the diagram on page 54.

Manual Section: Chassis Troubleshooting
Platform raises fine when empty but stalls and drifts down with anything near rated load

Test lift relief pressure with the platform loaded; adjust to 145 bar (2100 psi) using the pressure setting procedure on page 25. Rated capacity is 455 kg, so confirm the test load first. If pressure holds but the platform still drifts, check the lift cylinder holding valve and reseal the cylinder following the service procedures on page 17.

Manual Section: Tilt Alarm and Pressure Settings p. 25
Hydraulic pump whining loudly, oil foaming in tank, every function slow and jerky

Check oil level with the platform fully lowered; the tank holds 56.8 liters and a low level pulls air into the suction line. Inspect suction fittings for loose clamps and tighten them. Replace the 10 micron inline return filter, then run the hydraulic circuit checks in the troubleshooting section starting on page 45.

Manual Section: Hydraulic System Troubleshooting
Steering inoperative or machine wanders and pulls to one side on flat ground

Test steer relief pressure and set it to 103 bar (1500 psi) per the adjustment procedure on page 25. For wander, check wheel bearings and lug nuts, torquing lugs to 122 Nm. If the cylinder bypasses internally, remove and reseal it following the steer cylinder repair steps in the cylinder section starting on page 16.
