Hydraulic lift won't hold. Hard start in the cold. Transmission slipping under load. This 819-page OEM workshop manual has the torque specs, wiring diagrams, and step-by-step procedures to fix it...

Kioti built the DK752C and DK902C from one factory service set, and this manual (OEM #DS42-W00) reproduces every page of it, all 819 of them. The hydraulic schematics map full system circuits; the wiring diagrams cover the bonnet, panel, fender, and cabin harnesses. Troubleshooting charts run every major system from engine to air conditioning, backed by exploded views for each assembly and step-by-step procedures for the engine, transmission, rear axle, brakes, front axle, steering, and hydraulics. Torque the rear wheel nuts to 274.5~318.7 Nm; short cylinder head setscrews take 50 Nm, then a further 225 degrees. Every idle hour on these tractors costs money. Bookmarked by system and fully searchable, the PDF opens on your tablet about a minute after download.

Kioti DK752C/DK902C Common Problems This Manual Covers

Kioti DK752C/DK902C engine hard to start, cranks slowly, or misfires under load p. 47

Start with the fuel filter; replacement is due at 50 hours initially, then every 400 hours (page 193). Inspect fuel line fittings for air leaks and bleed the system. If the engine cranks but won't fire, measure inlet valve clearance cold: spec is 0.20 mm (page 58). Confirm the air cleaner is clean and not collapsed before condemning the injection pump.

Manual Section: 02- Engine
Hydraulic three-point lift raises slowly, won't hold position, or drops under load p. 477

Check the hydraulic filter and replace it on the 400-hour interval listed on page 486. Verify the transmission case oil level; capacity is 19.55 U.S.gal. (74l). Inspect all O-rings: replace any damaged ones and apply grease before seating (page 550). If the lift still drops under load, test relief valve pressure and inspect the control valve spool for internal bypassing.

Manual Section: 10- Hydraulic System
Clutch slips or won't fully disengage, gears grind going into range p. 225

Measure clutch pedal free play: spec is 20-30 mm (page 226). If free play is correct but slipping continues, pull the bell housing and measure disc thickness; serviceable minimum is 10.6 ± 0.3 mm (page 230). Torque the release fork mounting bolt to 166.7-186.3 Nm on reassembly. If grinding persists after adjustment, inspect the transmission for low or contaminated fluid.

Manual Section: 03- Clutch
Brakes feel spongy, pull to one side, or pedals need excessive travel p. 361

Set brake pedal free play to 15-30 mm on each side (page 362). Check left-to-right free-play difference: allowable tolerance is ±7 mm. If free play is in spec but stopping power is weak, remove the brake discs and measure thickness; spec is 4.6-4.8 mm. Replace any disc below minimum and inspect braking surfaces for oil contamination before reassembly.

Manual Section: 07- Brake
Steering wanders, returns hard, or front end has noticeable looseness and play p. 447

Inspect steering linkage rod ends and kingpin bushings for play; looseness here causes wander. Check hydraulic fluid level and inspect the steering cylinder for external leaks. Verify front tire pressure is 2.4 kg/cm² (page 38). If steering stays heavy with fluid in spec, the steering unit likely has internal bypass; trace circuit pressure using the hydraulic schematic.

Manual Section: 09- Steering System
Engine won't crank, starts then shuts down unexpectedly, or gauges go dead p. 569

Test battery open-circuit voltage: healthy range is 12.0-12.8V (page 575). Cold-weather no-starts usually point to a battery below 630 A cold-cranking capacity (page 571); load-test before condemning the alternator. Clean and retorque all ground connections. If the engine cranks but shuts down, trace the fuel shutoff solenoid circuit and key switch signal using the wiring diagram.

Manual Section: 11- Electric System

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reset the PTO or hydraulic system on a Kioti DK752C/DK902C?

The manual does not describe a direct "reset" procedure for the PTO or hydraulic system. Instead, it provides troubleshooting guides for specific malfunctions. For example, if the PTO shaft does not rotate when activated, the manual suggests checking components like the snap ring, modulator valve, solenoid valve, and O-ring, with solutions typically involving replacement or reassembly (page 4-14, PDF page 258). Similarly, hydraulic system troubleshooting involves diagnosing symptoms like "Not lifting 3-point hitch" and addressing causes such as insufficient fluid, clogged filters, or defective valves (page 10-30, PDF page 506).

What does error code mean on a DK752C/DK902C tractor?

There is no master list of numerical error codes for the DK752C/DK902C. For the Air Conditioning & Heater system, though, the manual describes a "Self-diagnosis function of A/C controller" where specific indicators blink to flag a faulty part. If "Mode actuator -1" is faulty, for example, its indicator blinks twice at 0.5-second intervals (page 13-27, PDF page 775). Other troubleshooting sections list symptoms with their possible causes and fixes rather than coded numbers.

What are the torque specs for head bolts / wheel bolts / injector parts on a DK752C/DK902C?

For head bolts, tighten cylinder head setscrews to an initial torque of 50 Nm (5.1 kgf-m, 37 lb-ft), then to 100 Nm (10.0 kgf-m, 74 lb-ft), followed by a further turn of 225° for short setscrews and 270° for long setscrews (page 2-83, PDF page 61). Rear wheel mounting nuts (M18) should be torqued to 274.5~318.7 Nm (28.0~32.5 kgf-m), and front wheel bolts & nuts to 196.1~225.5 Nm (20.0~23.0 kgf-m) (page 6-2, PDF page 330; page 8-4, PDF page 394). Atomiser clamps (M8) require 35.0 Nm (3.5 kgf-m, 26.0 lb-ft), and high-pressure fuel pipe nuts (M12) require 30.0 Nm (3.0 kgf-m, 22.0 lb-ft) (page 2-26, PDF page 72).

How do I bleed the fuel system on a Kioti DK902C?

To bleed the fuel system, first remove the atomiser cover and then turn the start key to the RUN position for three minutes. Next, loosen the high-pressure pipes at the atomisers and operate the starter motor until fuel free from air comes from the connections. Finally, tighten the connections to 30 Nm (3.0 kgf-m, 22 lb-ft), start the engine, check for leaks, and refit the atomiser cover (page 2-152, PDF page 61).
