Part of the New Holland Repair Manuals.
This is the factory service manual for the New Holland T5.100, T5.110 and T5.120 Electro Command tractors, part number 48038307. All three run the 16x16 Semi-Powershift Electro Command transmission. What makes this book useful on the bench is its numbered hydraulic circuit diagram: every regulating valve, safety valve, accumulator and pump in the tractor is listed with the pressure or displacement it is set to, from the 0.8 bar bypass valve up to the 215 bar safety discharge valve. The electrical section runs from page 2225 to page 4366.

New Holland T5.100 Electro Command, T5.110 Electro Command, T5.120 Electro Command Common Problems This Manual Covers
The Electro Command shifts harshly, slips, or a clutch will not engage.
Test clutch oil pressure against the two regulators the manual names, 18.0 bar and 7.0 bar, before you strip the box. The transmission carries four clutches, C1 to C4, each fed through the transmission control valve, and a pressure sensor set at 18.0 bar reports the supply. If pressures are right and a clutch still slips, the fault is mechanical; if a clutch is never commanded, work the electrical section instead.
Manual Section: TransmissionThe rear lift is slow, will not hold, or the remotes fade.
Work from the numbered circuit diagram. The high pressure pump displaces 25.0 cm3 per revolution and the circuit is capped by a 210.0 bar maximum pressure regulating valve, with a 215.0 bar safety discharge valve above it. Check the accumulator precharge, which should be 10.0 bar, and the filter, which is a 42 micron element with a 0.8 bar bypass. A clogged filter bypassing at 0.8 bar puts dirty oil straight into the EDC valve.
Manual Section: Hydraulic SystemsSteering is heavy while the rest of the hydraulics behave normally.
The steering has its own pump, 125.0 cm3 working to 170.0 bar, separate from the 25.0 cm3 high pressure pump that feeds the lift and remotes. That separation is the diagnosis: heavy steering with healthy lift means the steering pump or its circuit, not the main supply. Confirm the 170.0 bar setting, then work the steering section for the control valve and the cylinders.

Which tractors does this manual cover and how does it differ from the other T5 book?
The T5.100, T5.110 and T5.120 Electro Command, under part number 48038307. New Holland also published these three tractors under part number 51487926, a separate and longer edition. If your parts or procedures reference one number, use that book; the two are not interchangeable page for page even though the tractors are the same.
What pressures should the hydraulic and transmission circuits hold?
The hydraulic maximum pressure regulating valve is set to 210.0 bar and the transmission one to 190.0 bar (2755.0 psi). The lift circuit safety discharge valve opens at 215.0 bar (3117.5 psi). Transmission clutch oil is regulated at 18.0 bar (261.0 psi) and 7.0 bar (101.5 psi), and lubricating oil at 7.8 bar with a 2.0 bar minimum and a 15.0 bar maximum regulator.
Which pumps are fitted?
Three. A high pressure hydraulic pump of 25.0 cm3 per revolution (1.5 in3/rev), a low pressure hydraulic pump of 16.0 cm3 per revolution (1.0 in3/rev), and a steering pump of 125.0 cm3 (7.6 in3) working to 170.0 bar (2465.0 psi). The numbered circuit diagram in the hydraulic section shows which pump feeds which valve.
Does the Italian version differ?
On the brakes, yes. The Italian version carries a trailer brake security valve with two safety pressure switches, one at 10.0 bar (145.0 psi) and one at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi). The manual marks those components as Italian version so you do not chase a switch your tractor never had.
How big is the manual and can I search it?
It runs to 4703 pages in English and is a searchable, printable PDF. Search the text, print the pages you need for the bench, and keep the rest on a laptop in the workshop.
How will I receive this New Holland T5.100 Electro Command, T5.110 Electro?
Immediate download of the complete 4703-page searchable Service Manual (416 MB). Access it on any device, from a laptop at your desk to a phone in the field.
Am I able to print pages from this New Holland T5.100 Electro Command, T5.110?
