Weidemann 2070 wheel loader loses drive after high hours, no thrust uphill, wheel motors weak

Rule out hydrostatic drive pressure first before condemning wheel motors. Inspect drive shafts and axle mounts using the removal procedures starting on page 257. If an axle comes off, torque the securing bolts to 360 Nm on reinstall. Compare both wheel motors for case drain flow; the worn motor bypasses noticeably more oil.
