Part of the Doosan Repair Manuals.
This 778-page Doosan DX180LC Shop Manual PDF (OEM #K1024431AE) takes your track excavator apart on paper before you touch a wrench, and the same procedures cover the DX225LC, DX225NLC, DX255LC, and DX300LC. Inside: complete electrical and hydraulic schematics for the DX180LC, a full hydraulic troubleshooting, testing, and adjustment section, and rebuild procedures for the main pump, swing motor, travel motor, main control valve, and cylinders. You also get track assembly service, swing bearing and reduction gear work, plus boom, arm, and bucket procedures. Torque the 3/4-inch split flange to 3.0-3.7 kg·m (22-27 ft lb), and pull lower rollers when tread diameter hits 135 mm. No more chasing a pressure drop with a gauge and a hunch. Bookmarked with a real text layer; open it on your phone at the machine, search the spec, get back to digging.

Doosan DX180LC Common Problems This Manual Covers
Doosan DX180LC hydraulic system sluggish and overheating, boom and swing slow under load
Check hydraulic oil level and the return filter first. Test main relief pressure against the 330 kg/cm2 (4,689 psi) normal setting listed on page 72, then work through the pump and flow meter tests starting. If oil runs hot, ohm out the temperature sensor; it should read 190 ohms at 94 degrees C.
Manual Section: Hydraulic System Troubleshooting, Testing and Adjustment p. 72Engine cranks slowly or will not start, batteries go dead sitting overnight
Load test both 12 volt 100AH batteries before condemning the starter. Clean and tighten ground straps at the frame and engine block, then check for parasitic draw with everything switched off. Trace the starter and key switch circuits on the wiring diagram beginning if cranking stays weak with good batteries.
Manual Section: Electrical System p. 637Tracks walk off the front idler on side slopes, undercarriage clatters at travel speed
Measure lower roller tread diameter; replace any roller below the 135 mm limit for use shown on page 232. Check front idler tread as well, service limit 485 mm on page 234. Adjust track tension per the track assembly procedures, and inspect link pitch for stretch beyond the 190 mm standard.
Manual Section: Lower Structure and Chassis p. 232Machine pulls to one side traveling and loses power climbing out of the trench
Measure travel motor case drain flow; anything over the 25 l/min normal level on page 368 means the motor is worn internally. Run the jack-up test and compare against the 18.8 to 21.8 second high speed spec on page 79. Swap crossover lines side to side to confirm which motor is at fault.
Manual Section: Hydraulics p. 368Hydraulic hoses weep at the split flange fittings, oily film across the boom
Replace any hose showing cover cracks or fitting seepage, and renew the O-rings under the split flanges. Torque 1/2 inch split flange bolts to 2.1 to 2.5 kg·m (15 to 18 ft lb) and 1 inch flanges to 3.7 to 4.8 kg·m, per the chart on page 113. Wipe joints dry and recheck after warmup.
Manual Section: General Maintenance p. 113Frequently Asked Questions
