Part of the New Holland Repair Manuals.
This is the factory service manual for the New Holland CR9040, CR9060, CR9065, CR9070 and CR9080 twin-rotor combines, part number 84235773, dated November 2010 and covering machines from PIN HAJ110001. It is organised the way CNH builds the combine rather than the way you walk around it: the hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic systems come first and take more than half the book, then the engine and PTO input, the drive, the axles and brakes, the frame and cab, header positioning and finally crop processing.

New Holland CR9040-CR9080 Common Problems This Manual Covers
Hydraulic functions are slow, or steering goes heavy while other functions still work.
Measure standby first. It should sit between 24 and 31 bar, and maximum system pressure should reach 210 bar. Steering takes a priority flow of 35 l/min before anything else, so heavy steering with healthy functions elsewhere points at the priority valve rather than the pump. If the pump cannot make its 114 L/min minimum output at rated engine speed, everything downstream suffers together, which is the other clue.
Manual Section: Primary Hydraulic Power SystemA stored fault code, or a machine that derates with no visible mechanical cause.
Read the code and work the fault-code section, which fills pages 1596 to 2934 and carries a guided diagnostic behind each code, including the engine ECU codes. Once the test names a circuit, move to the electrical power system and find the numbered schematic frame and the connector component diagram for it. Test at the connector the diagram names rather than replacing a module on suspicion.
Manual Section: Fault Codes and DiagnosticsGrain loss or poor sample, and it is not obvious whether threshing or cleaning is at fault.
Work the crop-processing section in flow order rather than jumping to the sieves. It covers the feeder and stone trap, the twin-rotor threshing and separation, then the cleaning shoe with its sieves and fan, then grain handling. A rotor speed or concave clearance that is wrong sends unthreshed heads to the shoe and no sieve setting will fix that. Set the front of the machine correctly before you touch the back.

Which combines does this manual actually cover?
The CR9040, CR9060, CR9065, CR9070 and CR9080, from PIN HAJ110001 and above. That is what the title page states, and the front matter lists the individual PIN ranges for each model. The publication is part number 84235773, dated November 2010, and it replaces part number 84163557.
What hydraulic pressures and flows should the machine make?
Minimum pump output at engine rated speed is 114 L/min (30 US gal/min). Standby pressure should read 24 to 31 bar (348.0 to 450 psi) and maximum system pressure 210 bar (3046 psi). Priority flow to the steering circuit is 35 l/min (9 US gpm), which is taken before anything else gets oil.
How much of the manual is electrical and electronic?
More than half. The electrical power system runs from page 231 to page 1399 as schematic frames with harness and connector component diagrams. The electronic system follows at 1400 to 1595 with the control modules, the CAN bus and the calibration routines, and the fault-code tables run from 1596 to 2934 with a guided diagnostic behind each code.
Is the crop-processing path covered?
Yes, and it is the last and largest mechanical section, running from page 4047 to the end. It covers the feeder and stone trap, the twin-rotor threshing and separation, the cleaning shoe with its sieves and fan, the grain handling and unloading, and the residue handling and chopper. Header attachment and positioning sits just before it.
How big is the manual and can I search it?
It runs to 5063 pages in English and is a searchable, printable PDF. Search the text, print the pages you need for the bench, and keep the rest on a laptop in the workshop.
Is this New Holland CR9040, CR9060, CR9065, CR9070, CR9080 manual a digital?
Instant PDF download (279 MB). You get the full 5063-page searchable Service Manual immediately after payment. Open it on your laptop, tablet, or phone right in the shop.
Can I print this New Holland CR9040, CR9060, CR9065, CR9070, CR9080 manual?
Absolutely. No DRM or copy protection. Print the whole manual or just the pages you need. Any home or office printer works.
