Looking for the New Holland RG140.B, RG170.B, RG200.B service manual PDF? This 803-page factory manual (OEM #75314236) walks you through every system on all three motor grader variants, from the transmission and tandem drive axles to the articulation joint and front blade. You get full electrical wiring diagrams (pp. 80-97) and hydraulic system diagrams, and a complete transmission section with pressure checks and troubleshooting charts. Inside: standard torque tables, fluid and lubricant capacities, and step-by-step removal and installation procedures for the engine, turbocharger, limited slip rear axles, brakes, and air conditioning. Torque the hub cap capscrews to 40-54 Nm, and confirm transmission filter bypass at 60 psi before you chase a shifting complaint. Your grader is down and the clock is running. Get the factory numbers, not forum guesses. Bookmarked by system tab; type a keyword, jump to the spec, and get back on the blade.

New Holland RG140.B, RG170.B, RG200.B Common Problems This Manual Covers
New Holland RG200.B drive wheels do not disengage, machine stays locked in gear
Check for 24 volts at the wheel drive disengagement solenoid connector with the switch actuated; allowable range is 20 to 28 volts per page 181. If voltage is missing, trace the control circuit wiring and clean every connector. If voltage is good but the solenoid stays dead, replace it and retest before returning the machine to grade.
Manual Section: Power Train p. 181Transmission shifts erratically after startup and the filter restriction warning light stays on
Drain the transmission fluid and replace the filter at the initial 100 hour service; the maintenance chart on page 23 lists all intervals. The pressure switch actuates at 50 psi and the filter bypass opens at 60 psi (page 180), so a restriction warning means the element is loaded. Cut the old filter open and check for metal debris.
Manual Section: Power Train p. 180Engine cranks slowly or will not turn over, batteries go dead overnight
Test alternator output first: spec is 28 volts at 45 amperes on page 114. Load test both batteries and clean the ground connections at the frame. Trace the charging circuit with the wiring diagram if output is low, and replace the alternator only after it fails a bench test.
Manual Section: Electrical p. 114Air conditioner blows warm or cycles between cold and warm inside the cab
Check refrigerant charge before condemning the compressor; system capacity is 1.6 kg on page 740. Blow out the condenser fins, straighten any bent ones, and verify the compressor clutch engages. Recover, evacuate, and recharge with exactly 1.6 kg of refrigerant, then confirm steady vent temperature at high idle.
Manual Section: Mounted Equipment p. 740All hydraulic functions feel weak and erratic, blade and circle respond slowly under load
Replace the hydraulic filter element and inspect the old one for debris. Clean and tighten every suction line connection, since air leaks cause erratic response. Test control solenoid coils: resistance spec is 53 ohms plus or minus 3 percent, current draw .6 amp nominal and .7 amp maximum on page 181. Trace circuits with the hydraulic schematic.
Manual Section: Hydraulics p. 646Frequently Asked Questions
