Part of the New Holland Repair Manuals.
The TV6070 is not a normal tractor, and a normal service manual will not get you far on one. This is the factory repair manual for New Holland's bidirectional TV6070, and it covers both ends of the machine: cab end and engine end axles, both PTOs, both hitches, the articulation joint drive shafts, and the splitter box that ties the hydrostatic drive together. You get real numbers, not guesses: the Bosch VE6/12F1100R584-1 injection pump with injector pop pressure at 278 bar, axle shaft retaining bolts at 334 to 540 N.m, 51.2 liters of Ambra Multi G 134D in the axles. Diagnostic charts, torque tables, removal and overhaul procedures for every major system, delivered as a searchable PDF.

New Holland TV6070 Common Problems This Manual Covers
PTO will not operate properly or lacks power under load
Section 31, Power Take-Off, has a diagnostic chart on page 567 that tests output at 1500 RPM under dynamometer load and includes checking fuse F24. From there the section covers PTO clutch service and full PTO gearbox overhaul for both the cab end and engine end units.
Manual Section: Section 31 - Power Take-Off p. 567Hydraulic system overheats, whines, or quits entirely
Start with the diagnostic chart on page 850 in Section 35. Verify pump inlet temperature stays under the 90 C (194 F) continuous limit from the specs on page 781, then check for aerated oil, a blocked return filter, or a failing implement pump before pulling anything apart.
Manual Section: Section 35 - Hydraulics and Steering p. 850Spongy brake pedal, uneven braking side to side, or a reservoir that needs constant topping off
Section 33, Brakes, has a diagnostic chart on page 726 covering exactly these symptoms: inspect tube connections, check the master cylinder pushrod for seepage, and bleed the system. The section also covers brake disc components, park brake lever service, and testing and adjustment procedures.
Manual Section: Section 33 - Brakes p. 726Frequently Asked Questions
Does this manual cover engine overhaul, like pistons, crank bearings, or head work?
No, and you should know that before buying. The master table of contents states plainly that internal engine repair lives in a separate 6.7L engine repair manual, OEM 87491857. This book covers everything bolted to the outside of that engine: fuel injection pump, injector nozzle testing, turbocharger, air induction, exhaust, radiator, thermostat, water pump, plus engine removal, compression testing, and dynamometer testing. If your problem is fuel, air, cooling, or getting the engine out, you are covered. If you are splitting the block, you need the other book too. p. 1
My hydraulics are slow, noisy, or running hot. Will this actually help me find the cause?
Yes. There is a diagnostic chart for exactly that on page 850 in Section 35, Hydraulics and Steering, walking through overheating, noise, and complete loss of operation. The specs pages back it up: the implement pump runs 700 to 3000 rpm with a continuous inlet temperature limit of 90 C (194 F), so you can measure and compare instead of throwing parts at it. Steering control valve, implement valve, and auxiliary hydraulics each get their own overhaul procedures. p. 850
Does it have the fuel injection pump specs? Mine cranks but will not fire.
It does. Page 36 identifies the pump as a Bosch VE6/12F1100R584-1 with Bosch multi-hole injectors set at 278 bar (4031 psi) initial opening pressure. The Fuel System section covers the injection pump, engine shutoff, injector nozzle testing, and the fuel filter/separator, plus troubleshooting for hard starting, which on these machines is very often air in the fuel system or a shutoff solenoid problem rather than the pump itself. p. 36
Does it cover the electrical system and EICS error codes?
Yes. The Electrical System section covers starting and charging systems, batteries, harness connectors, and EICS error codes. That matters on a TV6070 because a lot of no-move and warning-light complaints trace back to corroded connectors, bad ground straps, or a tired battery rather than a failed component. Having the connector and code reference means you can chase the actual fault instead of replacing modules on a hunch. p. 1526
Which model years does this manual fit?
The publisher does not state specific production years for this edition. What I can tell you is that it is the full repair manual for the TV6070 bidirectional model, and the General Information section includes tractor identification and engine identification pages, so you can match your serial number plate against the book. If you own a TV6070, this is the repair manual written for it.
