Clunking at the center pivot when changing direction or loading
Wheel loaders live and die at the articulation joint - slop there shows up as a clunk on direction changes and uneven tire wear. Section 5 walks through articulation joint service, along with the steering component removal and installation you will likely do while you are in there.
