This is the 2007 Doosan shop manual for the DX210W wheel excavator, publication K1017314AE, and the wheels are the whole point. A tracked DX210 book will not help you here: this one carries the chapters that only exist on a rubber-tire machine, Front Axle (pages 281 to 356), Rear Axle (357 to 406), a Transmission section (pages 407 to 510) (407 to 510), the OSPC/OSPF Steering Valve (867 to 900) and the Service Brake Pedal Valve (963 to 984). Around that core you get the DL06 engine machine's full hydraulic schematic on page 1024, the electrical schematic on page 1159, swing bearing and swing reduction gear repair, main pump, main control valve, travel motor and axle-mounted 2 HL 250 and 2 HL 290 gearbox service.

Doosan DX210W Common Problems This Manual Covers

Hydraulics turn sluggish, noisy or hot under load and you cannot tell if it is the pump, the relief settings or plain contamination.

Start in the Hydraulic System Troubleshooting, Testing and Adjustment section, which pairs test-port measurements with the general notes on cleanliness and oil leaks, then trace the affected function on the full schematic on page 1024 (SP001107). It walks main relief and overload relief checks so you adjust or condemn parts on measured pressure, not guesswork.

Manual Section: Drive Coupling (Main Pump) and Hydraulic System Troubleshooting, Testing and Adjustment p. 407
Swing has excessive play, grinds or runs hot, pointing at the swing bearing or the reduction gearbox.

The Swing Reduction Gear chapter gives troubleshooting, specifications and testing/adjustment to separate gearbox wear from bearing wear before you tear anything down. If the bearing is the culprit, the Cabin to Swing Bearing chapter covers removal and installation, including the mandatory counterweight and front attachment removal warnings and the parts list for reassembly.

Manual Section: Swing Reduction Gear / Cabin to Swing Bearing p. 281
Driveline vibration or noise between engine and pump after a repair, usually a drive coupling installed without the correct torque.

The Drive Coupling section gives the actual numbers for the K1013827 coupling on the DX190W/DX210W row of the table on page 521: tightening torque Ta of 21 - 23 kg·m, Tb of 10 - 12 kg·m, and measurement H held to 6.0 - 7.0 mm. Set those three and most post-repair coupling vibration disappears.

Manual Section: Drive Coupling (Main Pump) and Hydraulic System Troubleshooting, Testing and Adjustment p. 867
Machine cranks poorly, charging is weak or electrical functions come and go, and you are chasing wires blind.

The Electrical System chapter documents the wire color code, the electrical supply system and the complete engine starting circuit through start operation and after start, so you test each relay and ground in sequence. The full electrical schematic on page 1159 (SP001256) lets you follow any single circuit end to end instead of pulling connectors at random.

Manual Section: Electrical System p. 963

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the manual for the wheeled DX210W or the tracked DX210?

Wheeled only, and that matters more than anything else on this page. The tracked DX210 shares almost nothing below the swing bearing. This book has five chapters a track machine manual will never have: Front Axle, Rear Axle, Transmission, Steering Valve and Service Brake Pedal Valve. If your machine rolls on 10.00 - 20 tires, this is the right book. If it runs on tracks, it is the wrong one. p. 57

Does it explain the fault codes on the gauge panel?

Yes, but know what you are getting. The 2007 gauge panel shows V-codes with a two-digit indication code, and the table on page 1120 decodes them: V201 with indication 01 is a communication error in the instrument panel, V202 with 02 is a communication error in the engine controller, and so on. There are no E12 style codes, no flash codes and no password reset procedure in this book, because this generation of machine does not use them. Anyone selling you a manual promising those for a 2007 DX210W is selling you the wrong book. p. 1120

Are the full hydraulic and electrical schematics included?

Both. The hydraulic schematic (SP001107) starts on page 1024 and is printed in one-piece boom, two-piece boom and 4-INDI variants, so you trace the circuit that matches your actual boom. The electrical schematic (SP001256) is on page 1159, backed by a chapter that walks the wire color codes, the supply system and the starting circuit step by step, which is where you go when the machine cranks poorly or gauges act up. p. 1024

Does it cover swing bearing and swing gearbox repair, since those are the parts everyone ends up replacing?

Yes, in depth. The Cabin to Swing Bearing chapter gives removal and installation with the specific warning sequence for pulling the counterweight and front attachment first, plus a parts list. The Swing Reduction Gear chapter adds theory of operation, specifications, troubleshooting and testing/adjustment, and the Swing Motor section covers construction and working principles. Between those three you can diagnose play, grinding or heat before deciding whether you are buying a bearing or just seals. p. 185

I have a DX140W or DX190W, will this manual still help?

Partly, and the book itself tells you where. The shared component chapters state applicability to the DX140W, DX160W, DX190W and DX210W family, and torque tables with a model column split out the DX190W/DX210W row, for example the drive coupling on page 521. The specification chapter with dimensions, weights and lifting capacity is DX210W only, so do not use those numbers for the smaller machines. p. 5
