Test the hydraulic circuit flow rate, which should be 20 litres/min for Category C models as detailed on page 76. Adjust the engine speed and verify the main relief valve setting. Inspect the trigger spool and striker piston for binding or excessive wear.

Inspect the air intake system and replace the clogged filter with air filter element replacement PP/7105 on page 68 for Honda engines. Verify the engine reaches the maximum permissible speed of 3600 revs/min outlined on page 45. Clean the fuel filter and bleed the lines.

What are the replacement specifications for hydraulic pump?
For replacement of the hydraulic pump, refer to the 'PUMP, MAIN HYDRAULIC, & COMPONENTS' section. For models up to M607392, the part number for the pump is PP/6601. For other models, the pump part number is PP/6601A. There is also a Dowty pump with part number PP/1554. It is recommended to fit only JCB Genuine Parts. p. 15
How do you fix Beaver engine cuts out
Check the hydraulic reservoir and verify the fluid level. Fill the tank to its maximum capacity of 4 Litres (1.09 Gal) as shown on page 72. Inspect the oil-alert switch connections. Test the machine to ensure the switch does not trigger prematurely. p. 72
