Check the transmission, hydraulic and rear axle oil level before condemning the pump, then replace both hydraulic oil filters at the 300 hour service starting on page 26. Adjust the clutch interlock cable before pulling the transmission. On 12 x 12 transmissions, set cable movement to 0.24 to 0.31 in. Test the hydrostatic steering pump with a pressure gauge teed into the pump outlet. Check the ignition switch connector for loose pins and backed out terminals before replacing the switch; wiggle the harness with the key held at start.
