New Holland E160C Blade Runner Common Problems This Manual Covers
Overloading to engine from the hydraulic pump
The hydraulic pump troubleshooting in the Upper Slewing Structure section lists engine overloading caused by an incorrectly piped regulator. The fix is to pipe the regulator correctly. Trace each regulator line against the hydraulic circuit diagrams in the Hydraulic System section before you suspect the engine.
Manual Section: Upper Slewing Structure - Hydraulic pump - Troubleshooting p. 608Hydraulic oil weeping from the swivel joint under the upper structure
The swivel joint troubleshooting gives defective O-rings and seals as the cause of external leakage. The manual says to replace all the seals, not just the one that's dripping. The removal and overhaul steps are in the Upper Slewing Structure section, so you can do the whole job in one go.
Manual Section: Upper Slewing Structure - Swivel joint - Troubleshooting p. 721Travel motor does not start or pressure does not rise
In the travel motor troubleshooting, a motor that won't start or won't build pressure points to a faulty built-in relief valve. The manual says to repair or replace that relief valve. The Travel System section covers travel motor and reduction unit overhaul if you have to strip it further.
Manual Section: Travel System - Travel motor troubleshooting p. 780Air conditioner blower motor does not run
Set the air flow to HI and check for battery voltage at both blower motor terminals. If voltage is there and the motor still won't turn, the motor has failed and must be replaced. The Air-Conditioner System section has the wiring diagrams for tracing the supply if voltage is missing.
