New Holland LM6.32–LM9.35 Series Common Problems This Manual Covers
Fault code 2620 - Gear selection error on an LM6.35 or LM7.42 Elite
The Fault Codes chapter lists a joystick control handle (Z-003) failure as the possible cause. The fix it gives is to replace the joystick control handle (Z-003). Before you order the handle, check its harness and connector against the schematic sheets and connector pinouts in the Electrical systems chapter.
Manual Section: Electrical systems - FAULT CODES p. 1859Fault code 9010 - Digital In Switch PRV boom down: the plausibility check with the PWM output failed, or the voltage is out of range
The Fault Codes chapter points to a failed boom lift down valve Y-014 and says to replace it. The Hydraulic systems chapter covers the main control valve and the hydraulic schematics. The electrical schematic sheets let you trace the Y-014 wiring before you change the valve.
Manual Section: Electrical systems - FAULT CODES p. 2303Fault code 12462 - Park Brake diagnostic failure within 5s: the brake was commanded to engage but was not detected as engaged
The Fault Codes chapter gives the failure mode as a park brake pressure switch whose contacts stay open. The fix is to replace the Park Brake pressure switch B-019. The Brakes and controls chapter covers the parking brake, the pressure checks and manual brake release if you need to move the machine first.
Manual Section: Electrical systems - FAULT CODES p. 2357Fault code 13600 - Steering control function: not admitted inputs combination
The Fault Codes chapter blames misuse or bad actuation of the rotary switch, and the fix is to operate the rotary switch properly. The steering control system section in the Electrical systems chapter shows how steering mode selection works, so the operator can be shown the right sequence. No part replacement is listed.

The LM6.35 and LM7.42 make 107 kW (145.5 Hp) at 1800 RPM and 591 N·m (435.9 lb ft) at 1500 RPM. All of them use the NEF 4 Tier 4B engine, 4.5 l (274.6 in³), rated at 2200 RPM full load. p. 68
What are the fuel, hydraulic and DEF tank capacities on the New Holland LM6.32–LM9.35 Series telehandler?
The fuel system holds 140 l (37 US gal). Total hydraulic system capacity is 157 L (41.5 US gal). The DEF/AdBlue tank takes 32 l (8.4 US gal). An engine oil change with a new filter takes 12 l (3.2 US gal). p. 44
How high does each LM model lift?
The lifting dimensions table gives height B at position 4. The LM6.32 and LM6.35 reach 6037 mm (238 in). The LM7.35, LM7.42 and LM7.42 CL reach 6902 mm (272 in). The LM9.35 reaches 9122 mm (359 in). p. 55
Does the manual include wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics and fault codes?
Yes. The wiring harnesses section of the Electrical systems chapter has the schematic sheets with component lists, for example SH02 - STARTING. The hydraulic schematics are in the Hydraulic systems chapter. The FAULT CODES chapter gives a procedure for each code, such as 2620 - Gear selection error and 13600 - Steering control function: not admitted inputs combination. p. 1061
