Pull up the Kubota G23, G26 Workshop Manual PDF (OEM #9Y111-02940) and you're working from Kubota's own shop procedures for both the G23 and G26 lawn tractors, 343 pages in total. Full wiring diagrams carry separate schematics for each model; hydraulic circuits cover all four configuration variants (mechanical PTO, hydraulic PTO, LD and HD); and troubleshooting charts span the engine, front axle, and grass collector systems. Exploded-view illustrations pin down part placement, a complete HST transaxle section is included, and disassembly and assembly procedures run past 200 pages across every major system. Cylinder head screws pull to 64-68 N·m (47-50 lbf·ft), and the fuel filter swaps out every 400 hours. Bookmarked by section and searchable by keyword, it opens on any device so you can start wrenching.

Kubota G23, G26 Common Problems This Manual Covers

Kubota G23/G26 engine cranks normally but fuel won't reach injectors, no start

Check the fuel level first; the tank holds 20.5 L. Inspect the fuel filter for blockage (replacement interval is every 400 Hr, page 32). Crack the bleed screw to purge air from the lines. If it still won't fire, work the engine diagnosis chart to isolate the fault.

Manual Section: 1 Engine
Blown fuse or intermittent no-start traced to loose or damaged wiring harness p. 268

Disconnect the negative battery terminal before touching any circuit. Measure voltage drop across each connection; healthy terminals read under 0.1 V (page 285). Inspect the harness along its full run for chafing against hot or moving parts. Replace damaged sections and re-clamp loose routing before tracing the circuit further with the wiring diagram on page 268.

Manual Section: 6 Electrical System
Transmission oil filter overdue, hydraulic lift sluggish or loss of drive power p. 251

Swap the transmission oil filter if past the 200 Hr interval (page 32); the case holds 11.0 L. Check hydraulic circuit fluid level, then confirm main relief valve pressure sits within 12.3 to 12.8 MPa (page 251). For persistent drive loss or vibration, work the transaxle troubleshooting flowcharts beginning at page 149.

Manual Section: 5 Hydraulic System
Radiator screen blocked, fan belt slack, engine temperature rising above normal range

Clear the radiator screen and fins first; blocked airflow is the usual culprit. Check fan belt deflection against the 7.0 to 9.0 mm range under firm thumb pressure (page 90). Test the radiator cap: pressure should take more than 10 seconds to drop from 88 to 59 kPa (page 100). If it keeps overheating, follow the temperature diagnosis chart.

Manual Section: 1 Engine
Mower blades turn slowly or cut unevenly, deck vibrates at full throttle p. 316

Torque the blade mounting bolts to 98 to 117.6 N·m (page 316); a loose blade is what sets up vibration and uneven cut. Check the mower belt for cracks or glazing. If blade speed stays slow after the belt check, confirm PTO clutch operating pressure reads 1.0 to 1.3 MPa (page 166). For blade-won't-turn and slow-speed faults, begin at the Mower section, page 308.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Kubota G23/G26 warning light mean?

Several indicator lamps are covered. The "Oil Pressure Lamp" lights when engine oil pressure drops too low (Page 6-S4), and the "Battery Charge Lamp" shows battery charging status (Page 6-M5). If the "Glow Lamp" stays dark with the main switch in the pre-heat position, the glow lamp itself may be faulty (Page 6-S3).

How do I bleed the fuel system on a Kubota G23/G26?

Fill the fuel tank, then start the engine, run it for about 30 seconds, and shut it off. You'll need this whenever the fuel filter or lines have been removed, the tank has run completely dry, or the machine has sat unused for a long stretch. (Page G-49)

How do I fix loss of power on a Kubota G23/G26?

Three things commonly drain power: a low oil level, a defective speed control pedal linkage, or improper charge pressure. When charge pressure runs low, replace the oil filter cartridge (Page G-21), check charge pressure (Page 2-S8), or inspect and flush the charge relief valve (Page 2-S38).

What are the replacement specifications for fuel filter?

Replace the fuel filter element every 400 hours. The job means disconnecting the fuel hoses, then fitting the new filter in place. (Page G-45)

How will I receive this Kubota G23, G26 Workshop Manual?

The download is instant. The full 343-page searchable Workshop Manual lands in your account right after payment, ready to open on a laptop, tablet, or phone out in the shop.

Can I print specific sections of this Kubota G23, G26 Workshop Manual?

No restrictions at all. Print a single page, a full chapter, or the whole manual. The PDF ships completely unlocked.

Are hydraulic system diagrams in this Kubota G23, G26 Workshop Manual?

Yes. The manual carries hydraulic system diagrams, circuit schematics, and component specifications.
