Kubota M90, M110, M120 Common Problems This Manual Covers
Hard or heavy power steering
Steering that feels heavy or wanders points to a worn steering controller, a weak hydraulic pump or a flow control fault. The Steering section covers the power steering hydraulic circuit, the pump and the control valve so you can isolate the cause.
Manual Section: Steering p. 432Weak brakes or wrong pedal free play
Spongy or uneven braking usually comes from incorrect pedal free play, air in the lines or worn friction parts. The Brakes section gives the free play spec and the travelling and parking brake servicing steps.
Manual Section: Brakes p. 368PTO clutch slipping or dragging
A PTO clutch that slips under load or will not fully release often has a worn disc or a sticking valve. The Clutch section documents the PTO clutch structure, oil flow, valve and the disc thickness limit.
Manual Section: Clutch p. 225Three-point hitch will not lift
A hitch that lifts slowly or not at all is usually a hydraulic pressure or control fault. The Hydraulic System section covers the overall hydraulic construction and the three-point hitch system outline and controls.
Manual Section: Hydraulic System p. 462Hard starting in cold weather
Slow or failed cranking can trace to the starter, the intake air heater or the safety starting circuit. The Electrical System section covers the starting system and the engine key switch shut-off system so you can test each part.
Manual Section: Electrical System p. 523Cab air conditioning not cooling
Weak or no cooling in the cab points to a low refrigerant charge or a fault in the air conditioner components. The Cabin section explains the air conditioning system, its refrigeration circuit and its electrical control.
Manual Section: Cabin p. 597Low engine oil pressure
Low oil pressure or noise on the M-90 warrants checking oil pressure against the rated-speed spec and inspecting valve clearance. The M-90 engine section holds the troubleshooting, servicing specifications and checking procedures.
Manual Section: Engine (M-90) p. 107Frequently Asked Questions
