You are about to pull a side shield, chase a hydrostatic calibration abort or reset a shearbar while the crop waits. This is New Holland service manual 47812470, February 2015, replacing 47688004, for the FR450, FR500, FR600, FR700 and FR850 forage harvesters sold in North America.
It starts at the main clutch and gearbox and works through the transmission, axles, hydrostatic drive and CCLS hydraulics. It then covers the feed rolls, metal detector, cutterhead, crop processor and spout. Engine removal, installation, fuel injection and cooling are included. Internal engine repair is not.
