New Holland TS6.110–TS6.140 Series Common Problems This Manual Covers
Noisy rear axle
The Powered rear axle troubleshooting table puts lack of oil first, so check the level before you pull anything apart. Refill to the oil specification in the book. On HC models, each rear final reduction housing takes 4 l (1.1 US gal). If the noise is still there with the level right, move on to the bevel gear, differential and bearing adjustment procedures in the same chapter.
Manual Section: Powered rear axle - Troubleshooting - Noisy rear axle p. 825Clutch does not engage gently
The Clutch troubleshooting table names a faulty clutch disc as the cause, and the fix is a new disc. The Clutch chapter covers the mechanical release control, clutch disc, pressure plate and flywheel damper. Then go through the adjustment procedure before the tractor goes back to the field.
Manual Section: Clutch - Troubleshooting - Clutch does not engage gently p. 243Power Shuttle tractor does not move
The Power shuttle transmission troubleshooting table lists low system pressure as the cause, so check system pressure before you suspect the clutch packs. Use the test procedure in the Transmission chapter and compare your gauge reading to the value in the book. Only once pressure is confirmed should you move on to the clutch packs and external controls.
Manual Section: Power shuttle transmission - Troubleshooting - Tractor does not move p. 402Aggressive clutch engagement on Power Shuttle
The Power shuttle transmission troubleshooting table blames a seizing inching pedal cable, and the fix is a new cable. Follow the external controls procedures in the Transmission chapter to route the new cable correctly. Then check that the pedal returns freely before the next field job.

Which New Holland TS6 tractors does this service manual cover?
It covers the TS6.110, TS6.110 HC, TS6.120, TS6.120 HC, TS6.130 and TS6.140 Tier 4B (final) tractors with PIN NT00001M and above, North America. This is New Holland part number 47924635, 1st edition English, December 2015. The standard models are listed in 2WD and 4WD, with ROPS or cab. The High Clearance (HC) models are 4WD only, with ROPS or cab. Power is 110 HP on the TS6.110, 119 HP on the TS6.120, 130 HP on the TS6.130 and 139 HP on the TS6.140. p. 1
What are the fuel, DEF and engine oil capacities of the New Holland TS6.110–TS6.140 Series?
On the TS6.110, TS6.120, TS6.130 and TS6.140, the fuel tank holds 217.6 L (57.5 US gal). The DEF/AdBlue tank holds 30 L (7.9 US gal). Engine oil is 10 L (2.6 US gal) including the filter, so buy enough for the filter change too. The cooling system takes 18 L (4.8 US gal). p. 36
What hydraulic and PTO pressures does the manual give?
The high-pressure hydraulic circuit runs at a maximum of 182 bar (2639 psi). For the two-speed rear PTO, the pressure regulating valve should read 1172 - 1379 kPa (170 - 200 psi) @ 2100 RPM. The relief valve should read 290 - 345 kPa (42 - 50 psi) @ 800 RPM. Note the engine speed for each test. A reading taken at the wrong RPM can send you chasing a good valve. p. 1014
Which transmissions and speed options are covered?
The book covers three transmissions: the 8 x 8 Mechanical Shuttle, the 8 x 8 Power Shuttle and the 16 x 8 Power Shuttle with DualPower. Power Shuttle top speed is 30 km/h (18.6 mph) as standard, with a 40 km/h (24.9 mph) option for 4WD. The 16 x 8 transmission and the 40 km/h (24.9 mph) transmission are not available on High Clearance models. If you run an HC, skip those sections. p. 273
Does the manual include electrical and hydraulic schematics and fault codes?
Yes. The book ends with fold-out electrical schematics: 47815869 for cab tractors and 47815870 for ROPS tractors. The Harnesses and connectors chapter has electrical schematic sheets with legends. The Hydraulic systems chapter has hydraulic schematic frames with legends. The FAULT CODES chapter gives a diagnostic procedure for each code. Two examples are 3001-Foot throttle sensor - signal not plausible, and 14051-Fuel level sensor short to Vcc or open circuit. p. 3134
