Engine cranks strong but will not fire after sitting through the winter
Check the fuel shut-off solenoid and key switch using the troubleshooting steps that start on page 135. Bleed air from the lines, then run the delivery valve leakage test on page 124; a drop below 16563 kPa (1849 psi) inside 5 seconds fails the valve. Torque replacement holders to 39 to 49 N·m (29 to 36 ft. lbs.).

Test the live PTO control valve oil pressure with a gauge; the reading should hold at 55 ± 10 kg/cm² (782 ± 142 psi) per page 274. Low pressure points to a leaking control valve O-ring or worn clutch pack. Pull the valve, replace the seals, and retest before hooking the baler back up.
