Case IH Farmall 80N to 110N and 80V to 110V Common Problems This Manual Covers
Clutch slips
If the disks are worn, check them against the clutch data, replace any part worn up to or over the limit, then adjust the levers and clutch control linkage. Replace a distorted or damaged Belleville spring disk. If oil or grease is on the friction lining, replace the discs, then find and stop the source of the lubricant. On the LUK 11"/11" clutch, the driven plate should measure 9.6 to 10.4 mm (0.37795 to 0.4094 in).
Manual Section: Clutch troubleshooting p. 335The lift does not raise
Go through the Rear Three-Point Hitch troubleshooting list in order. A clogged oil filter is the cheapest fix, so change the filter first. Next, check whether the control valve is locked in the drain position and release it. If both of those are fine, the hydraulic pump is faulty and needs an overhaul or replacement.
Manual Section: Rear three-point hitch troubleshooting p. 1082Steering wheel excessively stiff
The steering hydraulic control troubleshooting gives three causes. A faulty hydraulic pump needs repair. A pressure relief valve that is set wrong needs to be calibrated correctly. If foreign bodies have jammed the relief valve or are holding it open, clear them out and clean the filter.
Manual Section: Steering: hydraulic control components troubleshooting p. 1183Brake pedal stroke too long
If there is air in the brake circuit, bleed it. Replace the brake control pumps if they are worn. If the control pipes leak, find and fix the cause of the leak. Service brake working pressure is 17.6 bar (255 psi), and brake pedal adjustment is covered in the same section.

Which Farmall N and V tractors does this manual cover?
It covers the Farmall 80N, 80V, 90N, 90V, 100N, 100V, 110N and 110V Tier 4A (interim) tractors, PIN HLRQ010N*JLU***** and above. The book is Case IH part number 51526052, 1st edition November 2018. p. 1
How much oil does the Farmall 80N to 110V rear axle, transmission and hydraulic system take?
The rear axle, transmission, hydraulic lift, PTO and hydrostatic steering all share one 44.0 L (11.6 US gal) supply. The front axle housing takes 4.00 L (1.06 US gal), and each front final drive takes 0.60 L (0.16 US gal). The engine sump holds 6.4 to 8.1 L (1.7 to 2.1 US gal) between MIN and MAX. p. 21
What does the Farmall 80N to 110V rear three-point hitch lift?
The three-point linkage is Category 1st and 2nd, and maximum lift at the ball ends is 2600 kg (5732 lb). The rear lift pressure relief valve is set at 190 to 195 bar (2755 to 2828 psi). p. 1040
What engine speed gives 540 and 1000 RPM PTO speed on the Farmall 80N to 110V?
The PTO shaft turns 540 RPM at 2196 engine RPM. With the optional 1000 RPM PTO, you get 1000 RPM at 2260 engine RPM. p. 686
What is the Power Shuttle working pressure on the Farmall 80N to 110V?
The Power Shuttle and services working pressure is 15.7 bar (227.65 psi). Driven plates should measure 2.00 to 2.08 mm (0.0787 to 0.0818 in). p. 382
