Part of the New Holland Operator Manuals.
Part number 84266061 marks this as the factory's own 330-page New Holland T9030-T9060 series operator manual PDF, written for the T9030, T9040, T9050 and T9060 models of the T9000 tractor range. Icon descriptions and warning fault displays for the ROPS post instrument cluster are laid out in detail, while the field operation pages cover the PTO, standard drawbar, Category III or IV-N hitch couplers and remote hydraulics. Ballast, wheel bolt torques and tire pressures follow, plus a lubrication and maintenance chart for your service intervals. Expect 175 amp alternators on early T9030, T9040 and T9050 standard units, and 200 amp on late production machines so equipped. Changing engine oil? Plan on 31.0 liters (8.2 gal.) for the T9030 through T9050, or 49.0 liters (13.0 gal.) on the T9060. Bookmarks and a text layer take you straight to Lubricants and Capacities, so that oil service gets done to New Holland's own figures.

New Holland T9030, T9040, T9050, T9060 Common Problems This Manual Covers
New Holland T9000 series ENGINE COOLANT TEMP VERY HIGH warning with red stop light and alarm flashing
Shut the engine off immediately; a Level 1 warning on page 108 cannot be cleared with RESET. Check the coolant level first, then inspect the radiator for blockage or other cause. On Performance clusters the engine shuts down after a 30 second countdown, and cycling the key to move the tractor buys more time but risks damage.
Manual Section: Warning Fault Displays (Critical/Level 1) p. 108HYDRAULIC OIL TEMP VERY HIGH critical warning on programmable display with stop light and alarm flashing
Shut the engine off immediately, then check the hydraulic oil level and inspect the cooler for blockage or other cause per page 108. When topping up, remember the axle/hydraulic reservoir holds 25.0 Gal. (95.0 Liters) per page 243. If a HYDRAULIC OIL FILTER BLOCKED warning also logged, replace the hydraulic filter as page 113 directs.
Manual Section: Warning Fault Displays (Critical/Level 1) p. 108BATTERY VOLTAGE LOW or VOLTAGE VERY LOW warning on display with amber light staying on
Stop the tractor and shut the engine off if VOLTAGE VERY LOW appears, since controllers may quit (page 112). Remove the key before maintenance, as page 1 instructs. Check the alternator belt for longitudinal cracks meeting transverse cracks, fraying or missing material per page 269, then check battery water level and test both 12 volt Group Size 4 DLT batteries listed on page 311.
Manual Section: Level 3 Faults p. 112FUEL FILTER BLOCKED warning flashing on display with amber lamp on while engine runs
Change the fuel filter at the earliest convenience, as the Level 4 chart on page 113 directs. Relieve all pressure before disconnecting fluid lines; diesel leaking under pressure can penetrate skin (page 272). Then clean the fuel tank water trap, keep the tank full and use clean fuel so dirt and water stay out of the injection parts.
Manual Section: Level 4 Faults p. 113HITCH CONTROLLER OFF LINE message on display, hitch electronic controller not communicating over data cable
Check fuse #41 and replace it if it has blown, following the Level 2 chart on page 109. The same page lists fuse #39 for TRANSMISSION CONTROLLER OFF LINE, #40 for AUX, and #38 for the armrest. If the message persists after a good fuse, contact your dealer; HITCH SETUP calibration on page 110 is also dealer work.
Manual Section: Non-Critical Displays (Level 2) p. 109TURN PTO OFF, AUX NEUTRAL or HITCH CAPTURE message appearing on display right after startup
Move the PTO switch to OFF and return the remote hydraulic levers to neutral, as page 110 directs. For HITCH CAPTURE, move the hitch position control to match the actual hitch position; the linkage may move, so keep hands, arms, legs and feet out of the hitch travel arc (page 174). Before starting, put all controls in neutral or park (page 132).
Manual Section: Non-Critical Displays (Level 2) p. 110Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reset the service reminder on a New Holland T9000 tractor?
To reset the service reminder, press the 'A', 'B', or 'RESET' key on the keypad to acknowledge the reminder. If the service is not performed and the service function screen is not reset, the reminder will re-display in four hours. p. 127
What are the replacement specifications for fuel filters on the T9060 tractor?
The fuel filters should be changed at the recommended time interval. For the T9060, the fuel filters are located on the left-hand side of the engine. When replacing, ensure the water in fuel sensor wire harness is disconnected and reconnected properly. p. 273
What is the engine oil capacity for the T9060 tractor?
The engine oil exchange capacity with filter for the T9060 is approximately 13.0 gallons (49.0 liters). p. 243
What is the correct torque for wheel weight bolts on the New Holland T9030, T9040, T9050, T9060?
The torque for M16 Grade 10.9 wheel weight bolts/nuts is 270 to 350 Nm (200-260 ft. lb.). Lubricate the bolt threads lightly with SAE 10W-30 oil before installation. p. 223
How do I perform a coolant SCA test on a T9060 tractor?
The coolant must be tested with a Supplemental Coolant Additive (SCA) Test Kit (P/N CC2602) at each 500-hour engine oil change interval. Never pour coolant into the radiator if the engine is very hot to avoid potential damage. p. 277
