Work through the Engine Service Diagnosis chart on first. Pull the injection pump timing and reset static timing to 16 degrees BTDC per page 14 on DT-402 engines. Drain any contaminated diesel from the tank and lines, replace the fuel filter, and bleed air from the system before cranking again.
