Case 2120–2150 Pro Common Problems This Manual Covers
Case 2150 Pro Tractor engine won't start or turns over slowly after extended winter storage periods p. 127
Inspect battery cables for corrosion and snug all connections. Verify the battery rating meets the required 12 Volt, 100 Ah specification on page 127. Charge the battery at a rate between 8 and 9 amps. Replace frayed cables if the charging issue persists.
Manual Section: SpecificationsAuxiliary hydraulic remote cylinders operating poorly or failing to lift heavy implement attachments p. 64
Purge air from the remote hydraulic cylinders by cycling the control lever. Adjust the intermediate circuit flow control valve to a setting between 0 l/min to 40 l/min on page 64. Verify the tractor maintains the maximum hydraulic system pressure of 180 bar.
Manual Section: Field OperationTractor gears grinding during shifting or clutch pedal feels excessively loose during field operation p. 111
Check the clutch pedal free travel measurement on page 111. Adjust the linkage until the travel is exactly 15-30 mm. Test the pedal engagement and inspect the transmission fluid level. Fill the 2WD transmission to its 36 litres capacity if the fluid is low.
Manual Section: Lubrication/MaintenanceFront wheel wobbling or loose steering feel while driving over rough agricultural terrain p. 77
Inspect the front wheel tie-rod and steering cylinder. Torque the tie-rod bolt lock nut to 56 Nm as shown on page 77. Check the tire bead seating. Never exceed the maximum air pressure of 35 psi (2.4 bars) when seating a tire bead on a rim.

How to reset hydraulic flow on Case IH 2150 Pro tractor?
To set the hydraulic flow to a medium rate, maintain the setting knob in position 5. To increase the flow rate, turn the knob clockwise from position 10 to 0, and to decrease it, turn the knob counter-clockwise from position 0 to 10. The flow can be adjusted from a minimum of 0 l/min to a maximum of 40 l/min.
What are the replacement specifications for Batteries?
The battery specifications are 12 Volt, 100 Ah, with a cold cranking amperage of 420 Ampere at -18°C. If the battery is discharged, a full recharge is recommended at a charging rate of between 8 and 9 amps. Always replace battery cables if the terminal clamps become pitted or corroded.
What are the replacement specifications for Tires?
For replacement, refer to the 'Standard Tire and Wheel Combinations' and 'Optional Tire and Wheel Combinations' charts on pages 70-71 for specific models, tire sizes, type codes, ply ratings, and wheel sizes. It is important to use the front to rear tire combinations shown in the charts, especially for MFD models, and to use the same make of tire on all wheels as sizes can vary between manufacturers. Never use radial ply tires below 1.2 bar.
