Read the hitch fault codes and work through the electro-hydraulic hitch circuit checks in Hitch System Diagnosis, part of the Hydraulic System section on page 556. Test hitch valve flow, then check the hitch cylinder for a piston packing leak. Run the hitch operational check afterward, before you hook back up and head to the field.
