This Kubota Workshop Manual is the mechanism and servicing reference for a wide range of Kubota tractors, from the compact B series through the L series and up to the M series, including popular models such as the B7800, L2800 and the M8200 and M9000 families. It runs 390 pages and follows Kubota's own construction and function layout. The volume centers on the chassis and driveline: clutch, the transmission in its shuttle shift, dual speed, hydrostatic and power shift forms, rear and front axles, brakes, manual and power steering, the hydraulic system, the electrical system and the cabin air conditioning.Because it explains how each system is built and how it works, an owner or independent mechanic can understand a fault before disassembling, then follow the servicing detail to put the machine right.

Kubota Tractor Range Common Problems This Manual Covers

Hydrostatic drive weak or slipping

On HST equipped tractors a loss of drive, creep or sluggish response usually starts in the charge or relief valves and worn pump internals. The Transmission section explains the hydrostatic and power shift systems and gives the valve operating pressures used to diagnose them.

Manual Section: 3 Transmission p. 13
Three point hitch drops or lifts slowly

A hitch that will not raise a load or bleeds down at rest points to the hydraulic pump, flow priority valve or relief valve. The Hydraulic System section covers the circuit and its valves so you can locate the pressure loss.

Manual Section: 8 Hydraulic System p. 230
Heavy or wandering steering

Slow response or excess play traces to the steering gear box, integral or full hydrostatic power steering and the steering cylinder. The Steering section covers each steering type with the relief valve setting pressures to test it.

Manual Section: 7 Steering p. 198
Clutch drag or slip

Dragging, chatter or slip on the single plate, dual stage or hydraulic multiple disc clutch means worn friction faces or misadjustment. The Clutch section explains how each clutch type operates and how it should be serviced.

Manual Section: 2 Clutch p. 6
No start or charging fault

A no crank, a battery that will not stay charged or dim lights point at the starting, charging and lighting circuits. The Electrical System section covers the starting and charging systems and gauges to isolate the failure.

Manual Section: 9 Electrical System p. 314
Cab air conditioning not cooling

On cab tractors weak cooling usually traces to a low R134a charge, the compressor or the control side of the system. The Cabin section explains the refrigeration cycle and air conditioning layout with the refrigerant charge amount.

Manual Section: 10 Cabin p. 341
Poor braking or uneven brakes

A soft pedal or one sided braking points to the mechanical or hydraulic travelling brake and its equalizer adjustment. The Brakes section covers each brake type, the parking brake and the piston stroke used to set them.

Manual Section: 5 Brakes p. 168

Frequently Asked Questions

Which tractors does this manual cover?

It covers a broad range of Kubota B, L and M series tractors, including models such as the B1410, B7800, L2800, L5030, M8200 and M9000. Shared mechanism and servicing detail applies across the range, with model specific notes where systems differ.

Does this manual cover the engine?

No. This is the tractor mechanism volume, so the engine chapter is a notice that points to Kubota's separate diesel engine mechanism workshop manual. This book focuses on the clutch, transmission, axles, brakes, steering, hydraulics, electrical and cabin. p. 4

Is the cab air conditioning covered?

Yes. The Cabin section covers the refrigeration cycle, the air conditioning system layout and controls, and the front and rear windshield wipers, including the R134a refrigerant charge amount. p. 341

What do I get after purchasing this Kubota B1410 & variants manual?

Immediate download of the complete 390-page searchable Workshop Manual. Open it on any device, whether that's a laptop at your desk or a phone out in the field.

Can I print specific sections of this Kubota B1410 & variants Workshop Manual?

Yes. The PDF carries no DRM, so you can print any page or section you need for the shop. It works with any standard printer.

Can I find hydraulic circuit diagrams in this Kubota B1410 & variants manual?

Yes. The manual includes full hydraulic system diagrams, mapping circuits, valve locations, and component specs across the Kubota B7800 and its B, L, and M series variants.
