Part of the Kubota Repair Manuals.
Kubota's 268-page ZD326-EU service manual PDF, factory publication 9Y111-03011, settles the specifications, torques and service procedures for the ZD326 zero-turn mower across five EU designations, including RCK60P-326Z-EU and RCK60R-326Z-EU. Wiring diagrams trace the starting and charging systems through the AC dynamo, regulator, gauges and engine stop solenoid, while hydraulic circuit drawings connect the pump, control valve, lift cylinder and mower linkage. Further chapters work through the hydrostatic transmission, PTO system, parking brake, timing gears and mower gear box, backed by tightening torque tables and troubleshooting charts. Fill the transaxle with 12.1 L (12.8 U.S.qts) of fluid; the radiator takes 2.6 L. Check battery condition every 100 Hr. Your job may be tracing the charging circuit from the AC dynamo to the regulator, and the wiring diagrams show how those parts connect. Bookmarked by chapter, the file travels on a laptop or tablet to wherever the mower sits while you service the blade shaft and outer pulley.

Kubota ZD326-EU Common Problems This Manual Covers
Kubota ZD326 zero-turn with dusty radiator net and fins, diesel engine overheated after mowing
Stop the engine and remove the key before cleaning the radiator screen and core (page 36). Never open the radiator cap hot. Let it cool, then loosen it to the stop to relieve pressure (page 35). Check coolant and engine oil levels. With the key out (page 46), check fan belt deflection of 7.0 to 9.0 mm at 98 N, and verify radiator cap pressure falling time of 10 seconds or more (page 76).
Manual Section: Engine Troubleshooting p. 71Main switch turned to start but starter motor does not operate and engine will not crank
Check battery charge with a voltmeter or hydrometer, never a metal object across the posts (page 45). The battery is 12 V. When removing cables, disconnect the negative terminal first. Inspect the slow blow fuse and the harness between the main switch 50 terminal, safety switches and starter motor. Replace any defective safety switch, but do not alter or remove any part of the machine safety system (page 5).
Manual Section: Electrical System Troubleshooting p. 226Diesel engine keeps running and does not stop when the main switch is turned OFF
Check the 20 A fuse first and replace it if blown. Inspect the wiring harness between the main switch AC terminal and the engine stop solenoid for a disconnected or poor connection. If the wiring is sound, test the engine stop solenoid as covered on page 219 and replace it if defective. If the solenoid checks good, suspect the controller and replace it.
Manual Section: Electrical System Troubleshooting p. 226Hydrostatic transmission jerky and noisy when starting off, with loss of travel power
Stop the engine, remove the key and let the transmission case cool before checking the oil, because hot oil can burn (page 51). Replenish transmission oil (system capacity 12.1 L, page 51) and replace a clogged transmission oil filter cartridge. Retighten the suction pipe if air is entering. If power stays low, inspect the control linkage before condemning the hydraulic pump or hydrostatic transmission.
Manual Section: Transaxle Troubleshooting p. 134Mower deck blade speed slow and cutting poor, mower belt looks loose or worn
Park on firm level ground, apply the parking brake, stop the engine, remove the key and wait for all moving parts to stop (page 255). Clear clogged grass from the deck. Replace a loose mower belt or its tension spring, and replace a flattened or worn cup washer. Sharpen or replace worn blades and torque blade screws to 98.1 to 117 N·m (page 254). Mow at full throttle.
Manual Section: Mower Troubleshooting p. 252Fuel gauge on the panel does not function after filling the fuel tank
Inspect the wiring harness between the fuel gauge and the fuel level sensor for a disconnected or loose connection. Do not smoke while working on the fuel system (page 35). Measure fuel level sensor resistance with the float at its upper-most position against 1 to 5 Ω, following page 239, and replace the sensor if out of range. If sensor and wiring pass, replace the fuel gauge.
Manual Section: Electrical System Troubleshooting p. 227Frequently Asked Questions
What are the torque specifications for the mower blade bolts on the Kubota ZD326-EU?
The mower blade bolts must be tightened to a torque of 98.1 to 117 N·m (10.0 to 12.0 kgf·m, 72.4 to 86.7 lbf·ft). p. 262
How do I replace the deck belt on the mower?
To replace the mower belt, remove the mower deck from the machine, remove the center cover and grease up cover, remove the left and right hand shields, remove the belt from the tension pulley, and remove the right hand bracket. Install the new belt by reversing these steps, ensuring the bracket bolts are tightened to 77.6 to 90.2 N·m (8.0 to 9.2 kgf·m, 57.1 to 66.5 lbf·ft). p. 58
What are the replacement specifications for the radiator and cooling system components on the Kubota ZD326-EU?
The radiator hoses should be replaced every 2 years. The radiator cap must hold pressure for 10 seconds or more as it falls from 88 to 59 kPa (0.90 to 0.60 kgf/cm2, 13 to 8.5 psi); 177 kPa (1.8 kgf/cm2, 25.7 psi) is the radiator water leakage test pressure, not the cap spec. p. 76
What is the torque specification for the cylinder head screws on the Kubota ZD326-EU?
The cylinder head screws must be tightened to 64 to 68 N·m (6.5 to 7.0 kgf·m, 47 to 50 lbf·ft). p. 77
What is the correct valve clearance for the engine on the Kubota ZD326-EU?
The valve clearance for the engine (cold) should be 0.145 to 0.185 mm (0.00571 to 0.00728 in.). p. 72
