This is the factory technical manual John Deere dealers used to rebuild the 9000 and 9020 series four-wheel-drive tractors - 9100, 9200, 9300, 9400 and the later 9120 through 9620, built 1997-2003. It covers removal, teardown and assembly with torque specs for the 6081, 6101 and 6125 wet-sleeve diesels, from the 8.1L 260 hp 9100 up to the 12.5L engines in the 9300 and 9400. All three gearboxes get full overhaul chapters: the 18-speed PowerShift in the 9020 series, the 12-speed PowerShift in the 9000 series, and the Mechanical Shift (MST). Axles, final drives, articulation steering, brakes, hydraulics, SCVs, cab and the hinge/gudgeon bearings are all in here. Bring a torque wrench, not guesswork.
