Part of the Kubota Operator Manuals.
This is the operator's manual for the Kubota LA513, LA723, and LA853 front loaders, a 39-page PDF covering setup, daily operation, and owner maintenance of all three models. It walks you through safe operation, servicing the loader, pre-operation checks, and the full range of loader work: filling and dumping the bucket, lifting and carrying loads, loading from a bank, peeling and scraping, backfilling, and handling heavy objects. Maintenance coverage includes lubrication intervals, re-tightening of hardware, and general torque specifications. Removal, storage, and reinstallation procedures are documented step by step. With this manual you can set correct tire inflation and rear ballast, bleed air from the hydraulic system, torque the main frame bolts to spec, and safely dismount and remount the loader without reversing the hydraulic connections. Written for owners and operators who service their own equipment.

Kubota LA513, LA723, LA853 Common Problems This Manual Covers
Reversed loader controls after reinstall
After removing and remounting the loader, the bucket or boom moves opposite to joystick input, usually from swapped quick couplers or mis-routed hoses. The reinstall procedure shows the correct hose connections.
Manual Section: Reinstalling The Loader p. 37Spongy or slow boom response
Air trapped in the hydraulic system after hoses are disconnected makes the boom drift or respond slowly. Bleed it using the removing air procedure before working.
Manual Section: Pre-Operation Check p. 16Loose main frame hardware
Vibration works the mounting bolts loose over time, causing play and uneven loader movement. Re-torque the main frame M16 bolts to 23 kgf-m (166 ft-lbs).
Manual Section: Maintenance p. 31Worn pivots from missed greasing
Skipping the 10-hour lubrication lets the pins and control linkage wear and bind, which shows up as sloppy or noisy loader motion.
Manual Section: Maintenance p. 31Instability without rear ballast
Operating without correct rear ballast or with wrong tire inflation makes the tractor light in the back and prone to tipping under load.
Manual Section: Pre-Operation Check p. 16Loader damage in storage
Parking the loader without proper stands or protective caps can lead to tipping and contamination of the hydraulic couplers.
Manual Section: Storing The Loader p. 36Frequently Asked Questions
Which loaders does this manual cover?
It covers the Kubota LA513, LA723, and LA853 front loaders in one 39-page operator's manual, including the specifications and operating procedures specific to each of the three models.
Is this an operator or a repair manual?
It is the operator's manual, focused on safe operation, pre-operation checks, loader use, and owner maintenance such as lubrication and hardware torque. It is not a full component-rebuild workshop manual.
Does it list the torque specs for the mounting bolts?
Yes. The Maintenance section gives the general torque specifications, including the main frame M16 bolt at 23 kgf-m (166 ft-lbs), plus the lubrication and re-tightening schedule. p. 31
How do I bleed air from the hydraulic system?
The Pre-Operation Check section includes the removing air from hydraulic system procedure, used after connecting hoses so the boom and bucket respond without sponginess. p. 16
What format is this manual in?
Immediate download of the complete 39-page searchable Operator Manual. Read it on any device, whether that's the laptop at your desk or your phone out in the field.
Can I print this manual?
Yes. Print as many copies as you want, with no restrictions. Plenty of mechanics print just the section they need and carry it to the shop floor.
